Hiep Binh Ward was established on the basis of merging Hiep Binh Chanh Ward, Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward and a part of Linh Dong Ward (Thu Duc City). Hiep Binh Ward has an area of 16.01 km², population size is 215,638 people. This is the 3rd most populous ward in the country, the 2nd in the new Ho Chi Minh City.
Comrade Vu Anh Tuan, Head of the Department of Democracy and State Agencies, Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Hiep Binh Ward. Comrade Vo Thanh Binh, Chief Inspector of Thu Duc City, holds the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Hiep Binh Ward.
Comrade Vu Anh Tuan requested that the grassroots Party Committee and the entire political system of the ward immediately embark on the task with the highest determination and effort to quickly stabilize and perform well its functions and tasks. He also expressed his determination to build a clean and strong Hiep Binh ward, with a government apparatus serving the people; at the same time, promoting the great national unity, for a civilized, modern and affectionate Hiep Binh ward.
At the Hiep Binh Ward Public Administration Service Center, the renovation work has been carefully implemented and completed. Chairman of the Ward People's Committee Vo Thanh Binh said that equipment and machinery from the previous one-stop-shop departments of the three wards have been mobilized to best serve the people. "Cadres and civil servants have been divided into groups and organized many rehearsals to ensure there is no confusion and everything operates smoothly and smoothly," said Mr. Binh.

Comrade Huynh Ngoc Nu Phuong Hong, Secretary of District 5 Party Committee, holds the position of Secretary of Cho Lon Ward Party Committee. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Trung, Vice Chairman of District 5 People's Committee, holds the position of Chairman of Cho Lon Ward People's Committee.
Early in the morning of June 30, Ms. Chau Kim Phung in her traditional ao dai came to the ceremony. Ms. Kim Phung is a Chinese ethnic, Head of the Front Committee of Ward 2 (Ward 14, District 5), and expressed her joy that from July 1, she will become Head of the Front Committee of Ward 25, Cho Lon Ward.
In Ward 25, there are nearly 40% Chinese people. In the past time, Ms. Kim Phung and the Ward Executive Board actively propagated and popularized policies, especially the arrangement of administrative units. For the elderly Chinese people, she went to their homes to disseminate in Chinese. Immediately after the announcement ceremony, she continued to work with the Ward Executive Board to propagate and disseminate the content of the ceremony to the people in the ward.
