Mr. Vo Son Dien is the Chairman of the Provincial Association of Supporting Industry Enterprises for the 2025 - 2028 term.

(BDO) On the afternoon of June 19, at the Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, the 1st Congress of Binh Duong Province Supporting Industry Enterprises Association (BASI), term 2025 - 2028, took place.

Attending the congress were Mr. Bui Minh Tri, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and more than 120 delegates, including individuals, organizations and typical enterprises representing key areas in the province's supporting industry.

Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches and enterprises attended the congress.

The Congress emphasized the need to establish BASI in the context of the global economy being affected by supply chain shifts, trade conflicts and the urgent need for domestic production autonomy, the supporting industry is increasingly asserting its role as the "backbone" in modern industrial development.

At the same time, the Government's Resolutions have emphasized the importance of the private economic sector and the promotion of industry linkages. Binh Duong, with its important role in contributing to the industrial growth of the Southern Key Economic Zone, is fully converging the conditions to upgrade the supporting industry. In order to create a common voice and promote effective cooperation and support among supporting industry enterprises, the establishment of a professional organization is essential.

At the congress, delegates approved the Association's Charter; announced the Decision to establish the Binh Duong Province Supporting Industry Enterprises Association issued by the Provincial People's Committee; negotiated and elected 33 members to the Executive Committee for the 2025-2028 term; established an Advisory Board of 6 members who are experts and experienced business leaders in the industry...

The consultative congress elected Mr. Vo Son Dien, Executive Director of Marketing of the Investment and Industrial Development Corporation (Becamex IDC), Member of the Central Presidium of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, Chairman of the Binh Duong Young Entrepreneurs Association, Term IV and V, to hold the position of Chairman of the Association for the 2025-2028 term.

Speaking at the congress, Mr. Bui Minh Tri emphasized that the establishment of BASI demonstrates the proactive, creative spirit and aspiration of the Binh Duong business community, while actively contributing to the process of building a modern, self-reliant and integrated industry. These are very commendable efforts of businesses and businessmen.

Provincial leaders will pay more attention to solving difficulties for businesses, directing sectors and localities to do a good job of attracting investment, reforming administrative procedures, clearing land, enhancing public service responsibilities of cadres and civil servants... to ensure the best conditions for business operations.
