Beautiful memories of youth journey
Participating in the ranks of the Southern female guerilla bloc (Ho Chi Minh City Command - Military Region 7), female soldier Dang Ho Thien Phuc (25 years old) said she feels lucky and proud to have participated in the country's important mission three times in a row.
Previously, she was in the formation participating in the parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (A70), the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification (1975-2025). And most recently, Phuc continued to participate in the A80 mission to serve the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter , Thien Phuc said that although she has been in the parade formation 3 times, each time has brought different experiences and emotions. But it is an honor that not everyone has the opportunity to experience. For her, this is a brilliant journey of youth.
According to the female soldier, being selected for the parade is not easy. Each individual must go through many screening rounds, from appearance, health to movement techniques.
For example, her Southern female guerilla group required a height of 1m65 or more, a clear political background, and health level 1 or 2. In addition, the soldiers had to undergo a very strict training and movement test. For those who were exposed to the military environment for the first time, the training would be even more difficult.

"The third time I've been in the ranks, I feel more mature and mentally stable. At the same time, I'm clearly aware of the responsibility and honor of representing the youth and participating in the country's important holiday," Phuc shared.
Warm feelings of the people of the capital
To prepare for the big holiday, Phuc and his teammates began gathering at the Ho Chi Minh City Command Headquarters in early May and went to Hanoi in June. The training schedule was tight and strict in both intensity and technique.
Every day, the soldiers wake up from 4:30 to be at the training ground by 5:30. Morning training sessions usually last until 10:00 depending on weather conditions. Afternoon training sessions are usually from 14:30 or 15:00 to 16:30. The whole week will be closed on Sunday.
Not only do the female soldiers have to deal with the scorching sun in the capital, they also sometimes encounter sudden downpours. Phuc still remembers a time when she was practicing but it started to rain heavily. Although her feet were submerged in mud, the whole unit still stood at attention, sang military songs together, and encouraged each other to overcome the situation.
Despite the difficulties, the soldiers are always assured because the medical staff is always on duty, providing timely health care throughout the training process.
One of the things that moved the female soldier the most was the affection the people of the capital had for the parade.

"When the group moved from the Mieu Mon National Training Center to the inner city, people on both sides of the road were wearing red shirts with yellow stars and waving flags to welcome us. The warm feeling of military-civilian affection made us very proud and secretly told us to try harder and be more determined to fulfill our duty of serving the Fatherland," the female militiawoman confided.
The image of Thien Phuc in a Southern female guerrilla costume walking with the parade team has been shared a lot on social media recently, with a large number of interactions. This made the 25-year-old girl surprised and proud.
After each practice session, she often called home to tell her family. Her parents were very moved when they saw their daughter standing in the parade line, marching, and often encouraged her to try her best to complete her tasks.
For Thien Phuc, being able to participate in the parade three times and take part in the country's important mission is not only an honor, but also the most sacred memory of his youth. It is an unforgettable milestone in his journey of dedication to the Fatherland.
