In the 1980s, having a red Honda C70 or Super Cub in the house meant that a person had "wealth", and was the most valuable asset of the whole family because at that time everything was still lacking.

That car has been associated with the childhood of many children of Hanoi . Not only a means of transportation, that car is cherished and preserved through each generation.

Time passed quickly, those Cub motorbikes gradually disappeared, replaced by many other types of vehicles.

On the occasion of National Day this year, people and tourists will be able to admire the shiny red Cub motorbike running on the streets of Hanoi when a travel company launches the Independence motorbike tour product - Honda Motorbike Road Club.

Mr. Nghiem Anh Quan, co-founder of Vietnam Wander, shared that the idea of building the Independence motorbike tour started when he found an old, dusty Honda DD frame in his grandfather's warehouse.

Since then, Mr. Quan and other car enthusiasts have been collecting, restoring, and preparing for today. Currently, the group has 15 Cubs, and each month tours serve 10-20 guests (3-7 people per tour).

"For us, independence and freedom are not just a holiday. They are present in every street corner, in every person's memory. Each trip is a tribute to the previous generation, and at the same time helps international friends better understand the spirit of Hanoi, the spirit of Vietnam.

We want to not only take visitors on a tour, but also let them touch the history, the memories and the spirit of a time through the Honda DD - a vehicle that was once a symbol of an entire generation of Vietnamese. Therefore, the motto of this tour is Independence - memory travel, towards heritage craft villages", Mr. Quan shared.

On the journey, visitors will pass through the streets lined with flags and flowers of the capital on major holidays, passing through famous destinations of Hanoi such as: Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi flagpole, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Long Bien bridge.

In addition, the route opens up suburban craft villages such as pottery, weaving, and incense making, where craftsmen's hands are still persistently keeping the fire burning.

Each stop is an emotional place that helps visitors understand more about Hanoi and live more slowly among the bustling streets.

Tour price ranges around 1.5 million VND/person.
