Exhibition of Country's achievements: 'Living school' of patriotism

"National Achievement Exhibition" affirms the leadership role of the Party, the management of the State and the solidarity and creativity of the people in the cause of national construction and development.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) was assigned by the Government to be the standing agency to organize the National Achievements Exhibition .

This is a particularly important political and cultural event, not only an opportunity to look back on the glorious history of the nation, but also to affirm the stature and position of Vietnam today and the aspiration for sustainable development in the future.

80th Anniversary - Journey of Independence, Freedom, Happiness

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong emphasized: The exhibition of achievements of the country with the theme of 80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness is a practical activity to honor the outstanding achievements over the past 8 decades. The exhibition affirms the leadership role of the Party, the management of the State and the strength of solidarity and creativity of the people in the cause of building and developing the country.

The exhibition has special political and cultural significance, and is an opportunity to look back at the historical process and strengthen people's confidence in the path of innovation and sustainable development. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to promote the image of a dynamic, innovative Vietnam that is deeply integrated with the international community.

He hopes that the exhibition will not only be a place to preserve historical memories, but also a 'living school' of patriotism, especially for the younger generation. This is a valuable opportunity to better identify the role and responsibility of each person in the cause of building and developing the country.

"We hope that when entering the exhibition space, the public will feel national pride, while spreading the aspiration to develop a strong country. Hopefully the exhibition will become a forum for meeting and exchanging between managers, researchers, and artists, thereby finding new ideas in the work of preserving and promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam," said the Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

According to Mr. Ma The Anh - Director of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions, the permanent organizing unit, this year's exhibition is on a national scale, with the participation of ministries, branches, central organizations, 34 provinces and cities, businesses, and many strategic partner countries and diplomatic agencies.

The exhibition space is divided into 3 main areas.

Specifically, the general display section with the theme of Vietnam - the journey to a new era, introduces the core values, great achievements and immortal legends of the nation through topics such as: Vietnam - Country - People, 95 years of the Party flag lighting the way, Development creation, Rich province, strong country, Economic locomotive, Starting a business to build the nation.

The outdoor exhibition area with the theme of Integration and Development, includes spaces: For a Green Future, Sky Aspiration, Sword and Shield, National Festival; along with art performances, cultural fairs, cuisine and experience spaces.

The international exhibition area and 12 cultural industries with the theme of Integration and Creativity, display works and products from 12 cultural industries such as: cinema, performing arts, architecture, design, fashion, cultural tourism, handicrafts, fine arts - photography - exhibitions... with the participation of the diplomatic sector and embassies in Vietnam.

In addition, many sideline activities will be organized such as: folk art performances, documentary film screenings, thematic discussions, exchanges with artists and prominent figures in many fields.

Mr. Ma The Anh said that despite the huge volume of documents and artifacts spanning 8 decades, the Organizing Committee has made efforts to select to ensure comprehensiveness while creating clear, easy-to-understand highlights. At the same time, modern display technology will be applied to bring a vivid and attractive experience to the public.

The National Achievements Exhibition takes place from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh, Hanoi.
