Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan learns online about sales skills.
30 years ago, Hoang Anh Tuan in residential group 2, Tan Phong town (Quang Xuong) was born in the happiness of his family. However, he was unlucky to be born with asphyxia, which affected his motor nerve area. After the persistent process and efforts of his family to accompany Tuan in rehabilitation, he was only able to sit in a recliner at the age of 3, and took his first steps at the age of 13. Not only that, Tuan also had difficulty speaking. Every time he spoke, he would tilt his head or tilt his head to pronounce each word with difficulty. Fortunately, with normal intelligence, when he was old enough to go to school, his family sent him to class like many of his peers. Under the dedicated guidance of his teachers, he learned to read, write and do simple calculations. In particular, his love and passion for information technology was ignited from his parents' computer desk.
“March 8, 2024 is a day of special significance in my life when I was selected as one of 100 members in the province to receive support in selling products to generate income from the Project to support and create a startup space for people with disabilities. The project, jointly implemented by Bell Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company and the Association for People with Disabilities under the Association for the Protection of Orphans and Children's Rights of Thanh Hoa Province, has helped me earn an income when I turned 29 years old,” Tuan confided.
With his efforts to improve himself, Tuan has constantly improved himself. Every week, he still maintains 3 online classes on sales skills. However, because his face has no expression and he has difficulty speaking, he cannot livestream to sell products directly, but can only post advertisements on social networking sites such as Facebook. By enthusiastically consulting each customer about the products, how to use each product such as laundry detergent, floor cleaner, dishwashing liquid... Tuan has received many more orders online and directly at home. To help him sell conveniently, his parents are the ones who deliver the goods to customers. Currently, Tuan has an income of 2 - 3 million VND per month.
That is also the spirit of overcoming difficulties of the family of Mr. Le Quang Man and Ms. Nguyen Thi Luyen in Ly Yen quarter, Quan Lao town (Yen Dinh). In the story with us, Ms. Luyen shared that when she was 1 year old, after a high fever, she was completely paralyzed on the left side of her body. Her husband has been disabled with atrophied legs since he was 7 years old due to complications from a cold. From people in the same situation, they sympathized and shared with each other and with sincere love, they decided to commit their lives together in 2016.

Starting a business is difficult for normal people, and for disabled people like them, it is even more difficult. What to do to have a stable life and the best care for their children is always a constant question for Luyen and her husband. Therefore, after getting married, after consulting many relatives and finding it suitable for their health and personal circumstances, Luyen and her husband boldly borrowed 50 million VND to open a home appliance store. After 2 years, Man and Luyen paid off all their debts and had a certain amount of capital. However, the job requires transporting a lot of goods, while Luyen and her husband's travel is very difficult, so in 2018 Man's family decided to switch to telecommunications services. With the spirit of learning, perseverance, and hard work, Luyen and her husband's business activities are increasingly effective. With a stable income, they have built a spacious house. At the same time, they have created regular jobs for 1 worker with an income of about 5 - 6 million VND/month and 100 online collaborators, including 20 people with disabilities.
Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan and his wife Mr. Le Quang Man and Ms. Nguyen Thi Luyen are typical examples of overcoming difficulties to rise up among 217,000 disabled people in the province. With their extraordinary determination, the care and support of all levels, sectors and the social community, disabled people not only overcome adversity, rise up in life, integrate into the community, but also become inspirational people, bringing positive values to society.
