On the morning of August 19, the connecting route between Thai Nguyen - Bac Ninh - Phu Tho provinces through Thai Nguyen province will be inaugurated and put into use.

According to the plan, along with major projects and works nationwide, in Thai Nguyen province, there are 6 live and online television stations broadcasting the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies of projects and works. Of which, two major projects have been completed and put into use: the connecting road connecting Thai Nguyen - Bac Ninh - Phu Tho provinces and the Intensive Care and Anti-Poison Center (Thai Nguyen Central Hospital).

These are projects of strategic significance, opening up new development momentum, contributing to promoting progress in healthcare, transport infrastructure, socio -economy, and at the same time strengthening national defense and security potential.

Advances in the medical field

The Intensive Care and Anti-Poison Center (Thai Nguyen Central Hospital) is a large-scale, state-of-the-art medical facility in the country in the field of emergency resuscitation and anti-poison treatment. The project is designed with 5 floors, a total construction area of nearly 4,200m2, 120 beds meeting national and international standards, with a total investment of more than 154 billion VND from public investment capital.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Cong Hoang, Director of Thai Nguyen Central Hospital: The Intensive Care and Anti-Poison Center is not only an important step forward in improving treatment capacity, but also demonstrates the strong commitment of the provincial health sector in ensuring the people's right to access high-quality health services.

The operation of the Intensive Care and Anti-Poison Center is expected to help reduce the burden on upper-level hospitals, especially in emergency situations related to resuscitation and anti-poisoning. This is also the foundation for Thai Nguyen Central Hospital to continue to develop in-depth expertise, expand scientific research cooperation, and train high-quality human resources, thereby improving the quality of health care for the community, not only in the province but also in the Northern Midlands and Mountains.

The Intensive Care and Anti-Poison Center (Thai Nguyen Central Hospital) is the largest and most modern medical facility in the country in the field of emergency resuscitation and anti-poison treatment.

With its position as the region's final nuclear hospital, the unit's investment in modern facilities and elite human resources will help Thai Nguyen consolidate its role as a medical center, contributing to reducing the burden on major hospitals in Hanoi and creating peace of mind for people in neighboring provinces...

Breakthrough in transport infrastructure

If the Intensive Care and Anti-Poison Center affirms an important step forward in people's health care, the connecting route connecting the provinces of Thai Nguyen - Bac Ninh - Phu Tho opens up a space for connecting socio-economic development for the whole region.

After more than 3 years of construction, the project has been completed with a total investment of over 4,200 billion VND from the central and local budgets. The route has strategic significance in expanding development space, strengthening regional connectivity, shortening travel time, facilitating trade of goods and services, and opening up opportunities to attract investment, develop industry, tourism and services.

Mr. Tran Xuan Truong, Party Secretary, Chairman of Van Xuan Ward People's Council: When the route is put into operation, people will directly benefit from job opportunities, convenient travel and improved quality of life. This is truly the path of development.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tam, a veteran revolutionary and resident of Van Xuan Ward, emotionally expressed: I am 83 years old this year, and have lived almost my entire life in this land. I have never seen a traffic project implemented so drastically and completed so quickly. The newly opened road is not only a road for travel, but also a road of hope, of a brighter future for future generations.

In reality, with its location as a transit area between the Northern Midlands and Mountains and the Northern Delta, Thai Nguyen always considers the development of transport infrastructure as a key breakthrough to pave the way for other economic sectors. The regional connecting route is a clear demonstration of that determination, while also contributing to connecting the interests of the three provinces in a unified development space, in line with the national strategic orientation on infrastructure development and regional economy.

Large-scale projects started simultaneously

Along with two key projects inaugurated and put into use, on the occasion of National Day this year, Thai Nguyen province simultaneously started construction of 4 major projects in the area, including the Yen Binh 2 Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Construction Project, the New Urban Area Project and Central Walking Street Project of Phan Dinh Phung Ward, the Tan Thai - Nui Coc Lake Entertainment Complex, Phase 1 Golf Course and Housing Project in Dai Phuc Commune and the Bach Quang Ward Social Housing Project.

The implementation of these projects not only expands the space for industrial, urban, tourism and social security development, but is also a step to concretize the province's long-term development strategy, aiming to become the socio-economic center of the Northern Midlands and Mountains region by 2030.

The project of the new urban area and central walking street of Phan Dinh Phung ward (adjacent to Vo Nguyen Giap Square) will be started on the morning of August 19.

In particular, the emergence of new industrial parks and urban areas will contribute to creating jobs, accelerating the urbanization process, improving the appearance of rural and urban areas, and at the same time improving the quality of life for people, gradually making Thai Nguyen an attractive destination for investment, tourism and settlement.

Overall, a series of projects inaugurated and started on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2, have outlined a "picture" of the vibrant development of Thai Nguyen today. These are not just simple infrastructure projects, but also evidence of the province's determination to create a foundation for sustainable growth.

Each project, from healthcare, transportation to urban and industrial, is an important link in the process of realizing the aspiration of turning Thai Nguyen into a dynamic, modern, competitive and deeply integrated locality with the region and the whole country.
