For people in Phu My district (Binh Dinh province), there are many ways to process wasp pupae.

But besides wasp pupa porridge, stir-fried pupa with young banana in Phu My district (Binh Dinh province) is the most popular.

The way to process wasp pupae (young bees) in Phu My district is quite simple.

Wasp pupae after being removed from the nest are divided into two types.

The first type is milky white bee pupae (no need to prepare).

And the second type is bee pupae that are slightly yellow in color, with a black line in the middle of the abdomen (need to be processed by removing this black part).

Choose young banana trees, remove the old outer leaves, slice thinly and soak in water with a little salt to prevent the banana leaves from turning black, then wash and drain.
