The University of Science , Vietnam National University, Hanoi has just posted a warning about two fake documents about student exchange programs in Taiwan and Japan.

Both documents have the school seal; one document has the principal's signature, the other has the Head of the Department of Politics and Student Affairs' signature.

The fake document announced: students who want to participate in the international exchange program must submit an application including a scholarship application; a personal essay with full student ID, email, phone number; and financial records. Along with that, applicants must have an electronic statement to prove their financial capacity, at least 200 - 350 million VND.

At the same time, Hanoi University of Science and Technology also issued a similar announcement when a document with a forged signature of the director appeared with content about a student exchange program with a university in the US, requiring financial proof of 500 million VND.

Previously, the National Economics University also said that there were two documents with forged school seals and director's signatures, related to international cooperation and student exchange programs.

The facilities all confirmed that this is a fake document and advised students to be careful and vigilant to avoid being taken advantage of by bad guys to get information, defraud money transfers... If you want to participate in exchange programs or other activities, students need to contact the school through official channels.

"The school has sent reminder emails as well as advised new students during civic activities at the beginning of the school year to raise their vigilance against the tricks of bad guys" - informed the University of Natural Sciences.

It is known that since the beginning of the school year, the education sector has been repeatedly affected by impersonation. Not only universities have had their tuition fees and joint program enrollment documents forged, but the Ministry of Education and Training has also been impersonated by many Facebook pages to attract candidates to register for math, fine arts, English, etc. exams.
