Canh Tang Reservoir - the largest irrigation reservoir in the North
With a capacity of over 91 million m³; the main earth dam is 54.9m high, over 838m long; the auxiliary dam is 37.5m high, 131m long and has a spillway of 1,150 m³/s, Canh Tang Lake is known as the largest irrigation lake in the North, on a national scale, comparable to large lakes such as Dau Tieng, Cua Dat, and Ngan Truoi.
The Canh Tang reservoir project (Yen Phu commune, Phu Tho province) has the task of providing irrigation water for over 6,400 hectares of cultivated land of 13 communes in 2 districts of Lac Son and Yen Thuy (formerly Hoa Binh province) and supplementing 2.0m³/s of water in the dry season for the downstream.
In addition, it provides irrigation water for 2,500 hectares of agriculture in Thach Thanh (Thanh Hoa) and Lac Thinh industrial park (Yen Thuy district, former Hoa Binh province) with an area of 200 hectares.

According to Mr. Bui Thanh Tung, Chairman of Yen Phu Commune People's Committee, Phu Tho Province, during the construction process, the investor and the government organized the relocation of 596 households in Yen Phu, Van Nghia, and Binh Hem communes. Of these, 574 households moved to the new resettlement area.

Not only an irrigation project, Canh Tang Lake is also a “shield” against natural disasters, ensuring a stable water source, protecting production and the lives of tens of thousands of people in Phu Tho and Thanh Hoa provinces. At the same time, it opens up opportunities for tourism and service development on the lake and surrounding areas.

According to Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Phu Tho province Nguyen Huy Nhuan, the Canh Tang lake project is also a driving force for multi-sector development, from agriculture, industry, aquaculture to services and tourism.
“Canh Tang Lake will be the new symbol of Phu Tho, the “heart” of the entire Muong Vang region,” he emphasized.

The Canh Tang irrigation reservoir project has a total investment of nearly 4,000 billion VND, and started construction in August 2019, in Lac Son district, Hoa Binh province (old), now Phu Tho province.
Drainage project worth over 900 billion VND in Son La
The project is invested by the People's Committee of Son La province, using ODA preferential loans from the German Government, along with non-refundable aid from the Swiss Government and counterpart funds from the local budget. The total investment is over 900 billion VND, implemented in the period 2020 - 2025.
The project includes many important items, notably the wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 6,857m³/day and night, applying modern biological treatment technology. The treated wastewater meets column A according to QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT.
During the 2009 - 2021 period, the project completed a wastewater treatment plant, 5 pumping stations, nearly 67,000m of collection pipes and connected the drainage system for more than 5,400 households.

Hai Anh wind power plant in Quang Tri prepares to connect to the national grid
Hai Anh wind power project invested by Hai Anh - Quang Tri Wind Power Joint Stock Company is a level II group B energy project with a capacity of 40 MW, built in Huong Phung and Lao Bao communes, with a total investment of 1,500 billion VND.
The project started in 2023, the implementation process encountered many difficulties due to harsh weather and land clearance problems, but has now been completed. 8/8 wind turbine towers (each turbine 5 MW) have been installed; the 22kV underground cable system connecting to the 22/110kV transformer station of Hai Anh Wind Power Plant has been completed; the 110kV line over 3.38km long connecting to the 110kV Lao Bao transformer station has been put into use; along with the SCADA system, telecommunications, self-consumption electricity, operation management area...

Currently, the investor is running a trial run, completing the COD documents for commercial operation from August 20, 2025.
According to Director of Quang Tri Department of Industry and Trade Ho Xuan Hoe, this is the 22nd wind power project completed in the province, increasing the total power generation capacity to 1,034.2 MW. When operating, the project will provide about 118 million kWh/year to the national power system, contributing to ensuring energy sources for the socio-economic development of the province and the region.

The project creates jobs for nearly 20 local workers, builds nearly 10km of roads to serve the people, is expected to generate revenue of more than 200 billion VND/year and contribute about 40 billion VND/year to the budget. With a rich ecosystem, the project also opens up tourism potential for the western region of Quang Tri province - where many wind power plants are concentrated.
In recent years, Quang Tri has identified the development of the energy industry, especially renewable energy, as a key and breakthrough sector. This “sun and wind” region has become an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors.
According to the Power Plan VIII and its adjustment, the total planned power capacity of Quang Tri by 2030 is 12,963.4 MW, of which wind power accounts for 4,614 MW. The projects are concentrated in the western part of the province, have been researched, surveyed, installed with wind measuring poles and added to the plan according to appropriate criteria, with feasible connection and capacity release plans.

Van Ninh - Cam Lo Expressway
Construction started in January 2023, the Van Ninh - Cam Lo expressway is 65.5km long, with a total investment of nearly VND 9,920 billion, invested by the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board. The route starts from Van Ninh commune (now Truong Ninh commune, Quang Tri province), connecting to the Bung - Van Ninh expressway at the National Highway 9B intersection. The final section in Cam Hieu commune (now Hieu Giang commune, Quang Tri province), connecting to the Cam Lo - La Son expressway.

The expressway runs nearly parallel to Ho Chi Minh Road and has several intersections where underpasses are being built to ensure traffic safety.

Van Ninh - Cam Lo Expressway phase 1 is designed with 4 lanes, maximum speed 60-90 km/h.
Mr. Van Hai, a construction worker at the Van Ninh - Cam Lo expressway project, said that in recent days, workers have had to work continuously to meet the schedule under the 37 degree Celsius heat. Currently, the intersections have been paved, the road markings have been painted. The railings, guardrails, and signs have been completely installed; the iron nets and barbed wire along the route have been completed.

Mr. Le Van Son - Chairman of Truong Phu Commune People's Committee said that there is 13.9km of Van Ninh - Cam Lo expressway passing through the area.
In recent times, the Party Committee and the government have coordinated with the people to create maximum conditions for contractors to construct, ensuring progress and safety, so that the expressway can soon be put into operation, serving the socio-economic development of the region.
Saigon Marina International Financial Center
The Saigon Marina International Finance Center (Saigon Marina IFC) building at 2 Ton Duc Thang, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City marks the beginning of the roadmap for building an International Finance Center in Ho Chi Minh City.
Saigon Marina IFC is located in Ba Son area, a land that has been associated with the history of the shipbuilding industry and Saigon commercial port. The building is 55 stories high, 5 basements, with a total floor area of over 106,000 m² on a land area of over 6,000 m², making it one of the tallest buildings in Ho Chi Minh City. Saigon Marina IFC is designed to be multifunctional, including Class A offices, a commercial center, a hotel, meeting spaces and high-end amenities, expected to serve about 10,000 regular employees.

In terms of architecture, the building uses a double-layer glass facade system to reduce heat and save energy. About 30% of the area is dedicated to green space, including a hanging garden from the 35th to 43rd floors. The main lobby is about 9 m high, the system of 34 smart elevators and energy-saving solutions have helped the building achieve LEED Gold certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
In addition to its functionality, Saigon Marina IFC also possesses distinctive details: LED systems covering the entire facade, artistic night lighting displays, fountains and water music on campus. These elements contribute to shaping the image of a modern financial center right on the riverbank.
