At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hung Khuong, Principal of Ten Lo Man High School, said that thanks to the efforts and contributions of each member of the Ten Lo Man family and under the leadership of 10 principals, Ten Lo Man High School overcame difficulties and became one of the schools that has always developed continuously.
The school has also achieved a number of achievements such as: Being accredited for educational quality, reaching level 1; receiving many certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, certificates of merit from the Minister of Education and Training (MOET)...

"With a long history, the school and students will unite together, determined to build Ten Lo Man High School better and better, to build the school into a happy school, so that every day teachers and students go to school is a happy day. So that students go to school safely, teachers go to school happily, parents send their children to school with peace of mind" - Mr. Khuong said.
Representatives of the late lawyer Nguyen Huu Tho's family awarded scholarships to students of Ten Lo Man High School.
Ten Lo Man High School was the starting point of the first anti-American national salvation movement of the Southern people in 1950.
Besides many gathering places, Ton Tho Tuong Primary School (now Ten Lo Man High School) was chosen as a public forum against American intervention with a demonstration of the masses.
During the rally on March 19, 1950, lawyer Nguyen Huu Tho attended and spoke to the people. At around 9 o'clock that same day, on the 3rd floor of Ton Tho Tuong School (now Ten Lo Man High School), the Youth Shock Team quickly raised a large, beautiful red flag with a yellow star made of silk, fluttering in the bright morning sky of the city.
The March 19, 1950 protest was successful, forcing the US to cancel the planned naval exercise and two US warships had to hastily weigh anchor that same night.
"March 19, 1950 has become the "National Day of Anti-Americanism" of the Vietnamese people. The day that our teachers and students at Ten Le Man school always remember the spirit of opposing American intervention and invasion gathered from here..." - Mr. Khuong said.
At the ceremony to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the school's tradition, Mr. Nguyen Huu Chau, the eldest son of the late lawyer Nguyen Huu Tho, on behalf of his family, awarded 16 scholarships to the school's special students.
