On the evening of April 28 (Egypt time), the final night of the Miss Eco International 2024 contest took place in Egypt.
Vietnam's representative in this contest is Hoang Kim Chi. She was born in 1997, from Quang Tri . Kim Chi won the title of Miss Fire Vietnam 2023 at the Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 contest.
At the final night, the contestants went through the following competitions: calling out names, national costumes, evening gowns, presentations about the environment, and behavior.
After the competitions, the judges selected the top 5 finalists of Miss Eco International 2024 including beauties from Indonesia, Ukraine, Brazil, Canada and the Philippines.
Vietnam's representative missed the top 21.
In the national costume competition, the Philippines beauty won. The Vietnamese representative had an accident at the end of her performance, her pearl necklace broke and fell all over the catwalk.
In the end, the Ukrainian beauty won the crown of Miss Eco International 2024.
The titles of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th runner-up were awarded to beauties from the Philippines, Canada, Brazil and Indonesia, respectively.
Miss Eco International is known in Vietnamese as Miss World Environment. This year the contest enters its 10th year.
The message of this contest is about protecting the environment.
The representative of Vietnam who won the highest award at this contest was Nguyen Thanh Ha. She won the crown of Miss Eco International 2023.
