Research on applying artificial intelligence to build an active search and learning system HPUmind

On the afternoon of August 27, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) of Hai Phong city organized a selection advisory council to carry out the city-level S&T task: "Research on the application of artificial intelligence to build an active search and learning system HPUmind to support research, teaching, learning and experience for lecturers and students in information technology, microchip and semiconductor design".

The unit with valid documents registered to host the implementation is Hai Phong University. The conference was chaired by Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Pham Thi Sen Quynh.

At the Conference, representatives of Hai Phong University presented the topic and tasks focusing on the main contents: Research, analysis, overall assessment, determining the criteria set on functions and performance; research and selection of technology model for HPUMind system; design and development of application programming model for HPUMind system; deployment & operation of HPUMind system; forecasting the ability and proposing solutions to expand the research results of the system.

The Council members highly appreciated the urgency and practical significance of the topic. The Council frankly contributed ideas to help the research team improve, specifically: Proposing to adjust the topic name to suit reality; clarifying the structure, human resource allocation plan and close coordination mechanism between the school and enterprises; building a technology transfer mechanism after the task is completed; re-evaluating the technical infrastructure conditions, safety and security levels of the software system; supplementing quantitative indicators, online instruction documents, detailed system architecture; expanding research methods, testing applications at universities and colleges in the city; having solutions to protect software copyright, ensuring legality.

At the end of the Conference, the Advisory Council unanimously approved the task and requested Hai Phong University to seriously accept all comments, edit and complete the dossier according to regulations./.
