Singer Anh Tho, artist Trinh Minh Hien and singer Phuc Dai all shared that each performance is not simply music , but also a tribute to history, a continuation of the desire to contribute so that culture continues to accompany the country on a new journey.
Singer Anh Tho: Each melody is a tribute to history
I feel extremely honored and proud to be invited to participate in the special art program 80 years of glory and pride - Culture accompanies the nation , on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Cultural sector and also on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
For me, this is not only a performance, but also an opportunity for each artist to relive the heroic history of the nation, deeply feel the role of culture as the spiritual foundation, development motivation and endogenous strength of the country.
In this program, Anh Tho will perform the song " Nam Ton Song " - composed by musician Nguyen Van Ty, a work that resonated with great enthusiasm during the years of resistance against America.
Singer Anh Tho: Each melody is a tribute to history
The song praises the achievement of rice productivity of 5 tons/ha, the pride of Vietnamese farmers, especially in Thai Binh , and at the same time encourages the spirit of hard work, contributing to the Northern rear to support the Southern front.
For Anh Tho, singing those melodies is not just a performance, but also a way for her to show gratitude to the generation of her fathers who sacrificed, worked and fought for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
In my career, I have sung in many big shows, but this time it is a very different feeling. Singing on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Culture sector is singing with all the pride and gratitude, because culture has always accompanied the nation on every journey, from war to peace , from hardship to development.
Artist Trinh Minh Hien: 80 years, culture has always been a pioneer in the cause of nation building.
It can be said that, throughout the past 80 years, the cultural sector has always played an important role in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. Our Party has very early affirmed that culture is not only the spiritual foundation, but also the driving force for national development.
Cultural and artistic activities, along with the dedication of many generations of artists, have contributed to creating great spiritual strength - a "fire" that fuels the nation's indomitable will, contributing to resounding victories in history.
This special political art program, with carefully selected content and expertise, is also an affirmation of the pioneering role and responsibility of the cultural sector in the new period.
In my opinion, telling historical stories through artistic language is a way of conveying them that is both emotional and close to the public.
The 80-year history of building and defending national independence is a heroic journey, but when recreated through music, theater and artistic images, it will become easier to accept and more deeply engraved in the hearts of the audience.
The emotional resources that the art and political program brings not only recreate history, but also enhance its value, evoke pride and spread spiritual strength to today's and future generations.
Having the honor of performing the piece Tu Nguyen by musician Truong Quoc Khanh with the String Quartet in the program 80 years of glory and pride - Culture accompanies the nation , I am even more aware of my responsibility.
Artist Trinh Minh Hien: 80 years, culture has always been a pioneer in the cause of nation building
For weeks now, we have been practicing and recording carefully, putting all our heart and soul into each melody that has gone through history.
I believe that with serious preparation and enthusiasm, we will bring the audience memorable moments, contributing to the success of the special art program and spreading a deep patriotism to the community.
Singer Phuc Dai: 80 years, a journey full of pride
Receiving the invitation to participate in the program 80 years of glory and pride - Culture accompanies the nation , I feel extremely honored and proud. For every artist, this is a special occasion to pay tribute to the generations of cultural workers who have persistently contributed and created over the past 8 decades.
The Cultural Sector has always accompanied the country through all its ups and downs, from the arduous years of resistance to today's innovation and integration. Culture is not only soft power but also a spiritual foundation, a driving force to help preserve identity and build a progressive, humane society.
The mark of the cultural sector is present in all areas of life: from preserving and promoting the value of heritage, performing arts, expanding international exchange and cooperation to building a healthy cultural environment, arousing aspirations to rise up.
The contributions of the industry have forged our bravery, nurtured our love for our homeland and brought our country’s image closer to our friends around the world. It is also the flame that inspires each of us artists to continue to create, bringing our singing, our musical instruments, and our cultural stories into the hearts of the public.
I believe that the vitality of Vietnamese culture lies in its ability to adapt and innovate while still preserving traditional values that are the core of the quintessence of national culture.
Singer Phuc Dai always hopes to follow in the footsteps of previous generations, continuing to bring his songs and voice to spread the good values of Vietnamese culture.
In the program, I will perform a song imbued with patriotism, expressing faith in the Party's leadership in the cause of developing the country's culture, and arousing national pride.
I hope that through music, the audience will feel more clearly the glorious 80-year journey of the Cultural sector - a journey of attachment and companionship with the destiny of the nation.
As an artist, I always hope to follow in the footsteps of previous generations, continuing to bring songs and voices to spread the good values of Vietnamese culture to audiences at home and abroad.
