More than 200 years ago, My Thien pottery was famous everywhere, especially in the Central and Central Highlands regions. Up to now, My Thien pottery village only has artisan Dang Van Trinh (60 years old, Binh Son commune, Quang Ngai province) who is the only person attached to and preserving the traditional pottery craft.

Each My Thien ceramic product always contains unique technical and artistic elements, such as: the five-clawed dragon embossed in the Ly Dynasty style, symbolizing nobility and sacredness; the bamboo branch symbolizes a gentleman, meaning luck and prosperity. The mouse, associated with the image of "a mouse falling into a jar of sticky rice", is a symbol of abundance and prosperity.

The product is completely handmade and fired twice in the kiln, the first time to make the core, the second time after glazing to complete the color. My Thien ceramic glaze is unique because of its natural tones and completely depends on the kiln technique, humidity, temperature and the delicate feeling of the craftsman.
