This is also a key cultural and artistic activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.
At this Festival, Nghe An Traditional Arts Center won 2 individual gold medals, 2 individual silver medals, 4 individual bronze medals and 1 collective bronze medal.
Participating in the festival with the play Khong Thuc Nga (scriptwriter Nguyen Dang Chuong; Folk song adaptation: People's Artist An Ninh; Director: Meritorious Artist Bui Nhu Lai), the collective of actors of the Center wishes to send the folk melodies of Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam - recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity to a wide audience across the country.
The play praises the image of the police officer on the front line of drug crime prevention and control as well as the officers who are directly investigating crimes to bring peace to people's lives. Using the sweet and simple Nghe Tinh folk songs and skillful stage art techniques, the crew has portrayed a beautiful image, the silent but noble sacrifice of the People's Police officer, forgetting himself for the country, serving the people.
The two actors awarded Gold Medals at the Festival were Meritorious Artist Luu Thanh Vinh playing the role of Hoang Thai and Meritorious Artist Duc Lam playing the role of Phuong.
