July 31 is the deadline for liquidating the factory lease contract in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park.

(DN) - On the morning of July 24, the Management Board of Dong Nai Industrial Parks and Economic Zones worked with the Industrial Park Development Corporation (Sonadezi) and enterprises renting and leasing land and factories in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park to grasp the situation of contract liquidation, as well as the work of dismantling factories and handing over the site according to the committed schedule.

At the meeting, representatives of enterprises all expressed their high consensus with the province's policy of converting the function of the old industrial park into a modern civilized urban area. Regarding the land and factory lease contracts, most parties signed to terminate the contracts on July 31 to hand over the premises to the state.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc An, Deputy Head of Dong Nai Industrial Parks - Economic Zones Management Board, informed that up to now, the policies, plans, compensation and support policies in implementing the Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park Conversion Project have been informed to enterprises by the competent authorities. This working session aims to grasp the situation of liquidation of land and factory lease contracts and the progress of completing the relocation of assets of enterprises to report to the Provincial People's Committee. Other opinions of enterprises at this working session, Dong Nai Industrial Parks - Economic Zones Management Board and departments and branches will record and report to the competent authorities.

Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park has a total area of over 330 hectares. To implement the Project of Converting the Function of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an Urban - Commercial - Service Area and Improving the Environment, the province will reclaim about 229 hectares of land. According to the province's roadmap, the completion of compensation and site clearance will be completed before August 1, 2025.
