In the first 6 months of 2025, the entire Inspection sector has conducted 2,799 administrative inspections and 39,533 specialized inspections and examinations. Through inspections, management has been rectified, mechanisms and legal policies have been improved in many areas; economic violations of VND 129,888 billion and 722 hectares of land have been detected; of which VND 101,519 billion and 617 hectares of land have been recommended for recovery. The sector has recommended reviewing and administratively handling 671 collectives and 2,596 individuals; transferring 118 cases and 49 subjects to the investigation agency for further review and handling.

State agencies at all levels have so far resolved 12,323 out of 16,125 complaints and denunciations under their jurisdiction (reaching a rate of 76.4%). Thereby, they have recommended recovering 12.4 billion VND for the State; returning 10 billion VND to organizations and individuals; restoring and ensuring the rights of 6 organizations and 243 individuals; and recommending the handling of 224 people.

The Government Inspectorate has organized a "90-day and night campaign" focusing on implementing the conclusion of General Secretary To Lam on resolving complicated, prolonged complaints and denunciations that have gone beyond the central level in Hanoi. Up to now, out of 226 cases, 203 cases have been basically resolved (citizens withdrew their petitions, did not file a lawsuit, localities implemented the handling and resolution plan, and notified the termination of the resolution).

Most citizens agree with the solutions and decisions of competent state agencies, and do not continue to file complaints... The work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity continues to be resolutely implemented, synchronously and effectively deployed by all levels and sectors.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and evaluating outstanding results, pointing out shortcomings and limitations, and proposing solutions to overcome them, striving to excellently complete all tasks assigned by the Party and State to the Inspection sector in 2025.

Concluding the conference, Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong affirmed that 2025 is the year for the entire political system, including the Inspectorate, to implement the policy of streamlining the apparatus to effectively implement the Resolution and work program of the Government, in accordance with the spirit of: "Discipline, responsibility; proactive, timely; streamlined, effective; accelerated, breakthrough".

He requested that in the last months of 2025, the entire Inspection sector continue to be more proactive and resolute in effectively implementing the 2025 inspection plan; organize thematic inspections of projects with difficulties and problems and thematic inspections on waste prevention and control in the management and use of real estate facilities at state agencies, organizations and enterprises; and conduct assigned surprise inspections.

At the same time, increase publicity and transparency in inspection activities; improve discipline, administrative discipline, and public ethics in inspection activities, strictly implement Regulation No. 131-QD/TW dated October 27, 2023 of the Politburo on controlling power, preventing and combating corruption and negativity in inspection, supervision, enforcement of party discipline, and in inspection and auditing activities.

The entire industry continues to monitor and urge the implementation of the Government Inspectorate's Inspection Conclusions, especially the Inspection Conclusions that the Steering Committee has put into monitoring and direction.

Along with that, the Inspectorate needs to proactively coordinate with relevant agencies, departments and sectors to do a good job of receiving and guiding according to regulations, promptly handling citizens' petitions and letters; continue to pilot the implementation of the Online Citizen Reception Model... determined to strive to successfully complete all tasks assigned by the Party, State and People.
