Organize multiple events
From the end of May to the end of June, Khanh Hoa will host a series of major national cultural events. These include the Miss Vietnam Sea and Islands 2025 contest; a series of events in the 2025 Sea Culture and Tourism Festival, with highlights being the “Nha Trang Say Hi” music festival, an international cultural and artistic exchange program, and a Carnival parade; Miss Universe Vietnam 2025 - Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2025... Those events not only create exciting, impressive days for the people and tourists, but through each activity, once again the image of the country and people of Khanh Hoa is promoted and introduced to domestic and international friends in a natural way on the media, social networks, through the introduction of famous people... In an effort to promote and introduce the land and people of Khanh Hoa to domestic and foreign friends, over the past nearly 20 years, the government and people have actively built this place into a land of events, from the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival held every two years in the summer; Sea Tourism Festival; national and international beauty contests; the Golden Kite Award Ceremony; hosting annual music festivals; creating conditions for famous international art troupes and artists to exchange and perform... In addition, the province also organizes traditional folk festivals well; proposes to recognize national and world-class traditional cultural relics and heritages. With innovations and upgrades to increasingly larger and more impressive events, more and more people know about Khanh Hoa and want to come to Khanh Hoa to experience and explore. Just looking at the sudden increase in the number of tourists during cultural events partly reflects the interest of tourists in cultural events taking place in Khanh Hoa.
Enhance and elevate the event
Promoting culturally-colored experiential elements is considered an effective way to connect people in a locality or country with other localities or countries. The province's organization of many cultural events of different scales every year is in line with the connection and disseminated perspective so that the image, beauty of natural landscapes, historical and cultural values, typical products, and people's lives are promoted and introduced more widely. "Khanh Hoa province is one of the localities that often organizes large-scale cultural events. This shows the local government's interest in the enjoyment of people's cultural and spiritual life. These events are not only meant as entertainment or festivals, but also as a form of strategic cultural and tourism communication. This is a clear demonstration of the model of "culture leading the way for development", in which cultural events act as a soft engine to promote tourism, trade and local brand image", said Dr. Trinh Dang Khoa - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture.

The fact that major cultural events take place in the province is also considered a catalyst to stimulate the flow of tourists to Khanh Hoa. A large-scale and well-organized festival will create a ripple effect on tourism, culinary, shopping and entertainment activities. This is also an opportunity to strengthen community cohesion and build local identity when people are deeply involved in the preparation and organization of the event. However, for cultural events to be truly effective, the province needs to continue to improve professionalism in organization, invest deeply in artistic content; and integrate digital technology and modern communications to optimize promotional effectiveness. This is especially meaningful when the scope of Khanh Hoa province has been expanded and created a new large-scale cultural entity, possessing a diverse cultural and natural ecosystem. This poses a great opportunity, while also requiring a new and more connected cultural management mindset. “In my opinion, to effectively promote the cultural potential of Khanh Hoa province in the coming time, the provincial leaders need to focus on building a strategy for developing the cultural industry in the sea - forest - heritage area; unifying the inter-sectoral and inter-regional coordination mechanism; investing in education and training of cultural human resources; developing experiential cultural tourism associated with national identity... Along with that, the province should also boldly pilot the production of modern event and festival programs in the form of cultural industry; expanding and moving towards building a cultural festival with an international brand", Dr. Trinh Dang Khoa shared.

In the context of cultural activities receiving much attention as at present, the organization of many cultural and artistic events in recent times has demonstrated the right direction of the province. To continue to exploit and promote all strengths and potentials in the new context, it is time to upgrade and innovate the way of organizing cultural events to be both modern, approaching international standards, and highlight the value of local identity.
