The highlight of the 2020-2025 term is the annual academic classification results of students with more than 99.7% meeting the requirements or higher (an increase of 2.2% compared to the 2015-2020 term), of which more than 92% are good and excellent. The annual graduation rate of students is 94.3% good and excellent (exceeding the target of 24.3% compared to the resolution).

99.62% of graduate students are good and excellent. The school currently has 100% of lecturers and managers with university and postgraduate degrees, of which 65.5% have postgraduate degrees (exceeding the target by 10.5%); 77.2% of lecturers (exceeding the target by 7.2%). In the 2020-2025 term alone, the school has 1 comrade achieving the title of professor, 3 comrades achieving the title of associate professor, 1 comrade being awarded the title of People's Teacher and 18 comrades meeting the standards for the title of senior lecturer... Graduates are highly appreciated by their units, having good management, command, training and Party and political work skills, strictly following discipline, meeting the requirements of their initial positions.

To achieve these achievements, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the school have thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the resolutions and directives of the Party, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense on Education and Training; the motto "The quality of the school's training is the combat readiness of the unit" and projects, programs, and plans to make a breakthrough in improving the quality of education and training, focusing on "practical teaching, practical learning, and practical assessment of results", fighting against "achievement disease" in education and training. The school has effectively implemented the project: "Innovating the process and training programs for cadres at all levels in the Army to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation"; "Organizing enrollment for full-time military universities and colleges in the period 2023-2030"...; at the same time, building 9 new training programs, 4 output standards; Annually adjust and supplement 19 to 21 training programs and plans to ensure strictness, quality, and closeness to reality.

The Party Committee and the School Board actively direct innovation and standardization of training processes, programs, content, teaching methods, development of output standards, subject outlines, and modules to ensure comprehensiveness, practicality, solidity, and relevance to training subjects.

The highlight of the last term was implementing the motto "The quality of the school's training is the combat readiness of the unit", the school coordinated with many units of Military Regions 5, 7, 9, and Corps 34 to build output standards and collect feedback from thousands of cadres and students after graduation to work at their units; invited cadres with a lot of experience from the units to the training school so that lecturers and managers could visit and exchange methods; invited cadres who had been in combat, held leadership positions, and commanded units to impart combat experience, command, manage, and train troops; organized delegations of cadres and lecturers to visit, practice, study, and research at the base units...

Along with that, the school promoted training and coaching to improve the qualifications and capacity of cadres and lecturers; organized command-agency exercises at 1 side and 2 levels on the map and in the field with good quality, highly appreciated by the Ministry of National Defense and academies and schools; through the exercises, many lessons were drawn and applied to research and teaching to improve the quality of education and training and scientific research; encouraged faculties and teachers to practice teaching in English in some contents. The number of cadres and lecturers who received professional training and were qualified to standardize the titles of lecturer, senior lecturer, and senior lecturer exceeded the target and was higher than the previous term.

During the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee and the School Board have led and directed the assurance of good facilities and equipment to meet the norms and standards. The system of training grounds, lecture halls, specialized classrooms, laboratories, and libraries has been upgraded to meet the development requirements of the education and training tasks, gradually standardizing the smart school model.

With the training characteristics associated with scientific research, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the school have effectively led and directed the implementation of the Central Military Commission's resolutions on military science work; focused on research to improve thinking capacity, organize practical activities for cadres, lecturers and students; participated in research and development of military art theory, military social sciences and humanities; organized research, compilation, acceptance, transfer of application of topics, initiatives, documents and textbooks to ensure quality; expanded research exchanges on many valuable scientific topics, contributing to enhancing the position and prestige of the school. In the past term, the school accepted 5 topics at the Ministry of National Defense level, 1 topic at Dong Nai province level and 1 topic at Ho Chi Minh City level with excellent results; 43 topics and initiatives at the General Staff level, 2 topics at the General Department of Politics level; Compiled 100 documents and textbooks at the Ministry of National Defense level and 174 school-level topics and initiatives... along with many documents, textbooks and topics at the grassroots level.

From the results of the 2020-2025 term and the characteristics and requirements of the school's education and training tasks in the coming years, the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of the Army Officers School 2 determined the motto "Solidarity-Democracy-Innovation-Creativity-Development"; continuing to affirm the school's mettle, intelligence, solidarity, unity, steadfastness and aspirations to rise up over 64 years of construction, fighting and growing. The school's Party Committee proposed 3 breakthroughs: (1) Promoting the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in education and training and administrative reform. (2) Synchronously and drastically implementing solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of formal construction, discipline management and safety assurance. (3) Well perform the responsibility of setting an example for cadres, especially leading cadres at all levels, in cultivating and training revolutionary ethics and performing duties and tasks.

To create a breakthrough in the new term, the school's Party Committee has identified comprehensive and practical tasks and solutions to lead the unit to excellently complete and elevate the level of education and training tasks to meet the development requirements of the Army in the era of national development. In particular, the school focuses on promoting digital transformation in education and training; investing in research and application of information technology, simulation technology, artificial intelligence (AI) in training and exercises to achieve quality and efficiency, creating a breakthrough in building smart schools; focusing on standardizing programs and content; innovating methods, improving the quality of teaching and learning; exams, tests, and evaluation of results are the key content; incorporating digital transformation content into the training program for subjects...

With a long history of glorious tradition and a spirit of solidarity, innovation and creativity, Army Officer School 2 is determined to successfully implement the targets and resolutions in the new term, strive to build a smart school, and make a worthy contribution to the cause of building the Army and firmly protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland in the new era.
