Buy cheap AI Veo3, Midjourney video creation accounts, be careful of risks

(NLDO) - Along with the craze of creating videos with AI, a series of accounts selling cheap AI accounts have appeared on websites.

Since their launch, AI video creation tools such as Google Veo3 and Midjourney V1 have been quickly welcomed by Vietnamese users thanks to their ability to create vivid videos with just a command.

According to the record, to use Midjourney V1 or Google Veo3, users need to pay a high price. Specifically, Midjourney costs from 10-120 USD/month (260,000 to 3.1 million VND/month) depending on the package, while Veo3 (currently only available in the US) costs 249.99 USD/month, equivalent to more than 6.5 million VND.

Taking advantage of the psychology of preferring cheap goods, a series of "cheap AI" accounts have appeared on websites, starting from only 99,000 VND, being sold everywhere, posing many potential risks to data security.

A Fanpage named CGC is selling a “permanent” Veo3 account for only 99,000 VND (65 times lower than the official price), allowing up to 150 videos to be created in 3 months. Along with that is a commitment such as no sharing, stable operation, top reputation, even lifetime use to attract buyers.

However, many people have soon realized the price of “cheap goods”. Mr. Hoang Nguyen, a user in Ho Chi Minh City, said he had an unpleasant experience when buying a Veo3 account from Fanpage CN4. Initially, he was informed that he would receive a Gmail account with Veo3 access granted for a fee of VND99,000 for 3 months of use. However, after transferring the money, the seller continued to ask him to download an additional application to log in at an additional cost of nearly VND200,000. When he refused and requested a refund, the seller account immediately blocked all communication.

Some other users also expressed disappointment when buying cheap Veo3 accounts with errors, unable to log in or locked after a few days of use.

According to technology experts, buying these cheap AI accounts can create conditions for criminals to collect information, steal passwords, or even control all linked social network accounts.

"Lifetime offers for only 99,000 VND may seem attractive, but they can cause buyers to lose more than they intended to save. To be safe, users should choose official channels," Mr. Tran Tho, a representative of a company providing advertising services on social networks, advised.
