In the past time, the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City have always paid attention to and directed the departments, branches, Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association, and Ho Chi Minh City Artists' Association to support the Ho Chi Minh City Artists' Nursing Home, and the artists here have been well taken care of. However, after many years of use, the facilities of the Ho Chi Minh City Artists' Nursing Home have deteriorated, and there are no conditions to take care of the artists when they are sick or ill. Therefore, the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City have decided to transfer the elderly artists to the Thi Nghe Nursing Home.

The Ho Chi Minh City Artists Nursing Center belongs to the Artists' Association, Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association, established in 1994, originating from the passion and contributions of People's Artist Phung Ha and co-founders; receiving attention and support from leaders at all levels and many generations of artists; audiences and philanthropists regularly visit, considering this a destination bearing the typical mark of the traditional morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking" of artists in particular and Ho Chi Minh City in general.

7 artists: Meritorious Artist Dieu Hien, artists Ngoc Dang, Dang Thi Xuan, Lam Son, Ngoc Be, Mac Can and Huynh Thanh Tra have been officially accepted and cared for by Thi Nghe Nursing Center since today, February 27.

People's Artist Phuong Loan said: "Here, there are full conditions for food and medical care. Artists are arranged in a separate area for convenience in living as well as for organizations, individuals, and artists to visit."

People's Artist Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy said: "The Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City will coordinate with the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association to regularly monitor the health situation and encourage the artists to feel secure living in their new place. The Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City will also coordinate with the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Ho Chi Minh City to continue to review and promptly propose to bring artists who meet the prescribed criteria to the Thi Nghe Nursing Center."
