The social housing apartment project at lot B4-2 in Bau Tram Lakeside Green Urban Area (abbreviated as Bau Tram Lakeside project) is located in Hoa Hiep Nam ward, Lien Chieu district, invested by Saigon - Da Nang Investment Joint Stock Company.
The project consists of 6 apartment towers, 21 floors, an elevator shaft and 1 basement. In this phase, 290 apartments are for rent, each apartment has an area of 36m2 to 70m2 . The rental price is 78,000 VND/ m2 /month, including 5% value added tax and 2% maintenance fee.

Subjects registered to rent social housing according to the provisions from Clause 1 to Clause 11, Article 76 of the Housing Law; subjects specified in Clause 7, Article 76 of the Housing Law have not yet enjoyed housing support policies for the people's armed forces.
Specifically, people with meritorious services to the revolution, relatives of martyrs who are eligible for housing improvement support according to the provisions of the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment of People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution; poor and near-poor households in rural areas; poor and near-poor households in rural areas in areas frequently affected by natural disasters and climate change; poor and near-poor households in urban areas;
Low-income earners in urban areas; workers and laborers working at enterprises, cooperatives, and cooperative unions inside and outside industrial zones; officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers of the people's armed forces, police workers, civil servants, defense workers and public employees currently serving in the army; people working in cryptographic work, people working in other cryptographic organizations receiving salaries from the state budget currently working.
In addition, there are also cadres, civil servants and public employees as prescribed by law on cadres, civil servants and public employees; subjects who have returned official housing as prescribed in Clause 4, Article 125 of the Housing Law, except for cases of official housing being revoked due to violations of the provisions of this Law; households and individuals whose land is revoked and whose houses must be cleared and demolished as prescribed by law but have not yet received compensation from the State in the form of housing or residential land.

The application form for social housing rental includes an application form for social housing rental according to form No. 01 - Decree No. 100/2024/ND-CP, documents proving that the subject is eligible for social housing support policies.
In addition, to verify the correct applicant and provide additional information for the review and signing of the housing rental contract, the applicant is requested to bring some personal documents: certified copies of the applicant's and the applicant's spouse's ID cards (if married); certified copies of the marriage certificate (if married) or a certificate of marital status (if single). In case of authorizing the submission of the application, bring a valid power of attorney and the authorized person's ID card.
The Department of Construction emphasized that the review process will be conducted strictly to ensure fairness and transparency. In case the number of valid applications exceeds the number of apartments, the investor will organize a public lottery under the supervision of the authorities. According to the Department of Construction, this project is part of the city's efforts to realize social security policies and address urgent housing needs for the people.
