There are only 2 days left until the match between Malaysia and Vietnam in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers at Bukit Jalil Stadium (June 10). However, Malaysia's "holy land" will certainly be difficult to fill.

According to the match organizers, only about 29,400 tickets have been sold. Meanwhile, the capacity of Bukit Jalil Stadium is 87,500 people. Thus, only about 1/3 of the tickets have been sold, which makes the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) extremely worried and calls on fans to come to the stadium to cheer on the team.

The organizers will issue four ticket prices for the match on June 10. The highest price is 70 ringgit (about 420,000 VND)/ticket, 60 ringgit (about 360,000 VND)/ticket and 40 ringgit (about 240,000 VND)/ticket.

At the same time, FAM also announced an extremely cheap ticket price of 5 ringgit (about 30,000 VND) for children.

However, the fact that the match is held on a Tuesday makes it difficult for Malaysian fans to buy tickets to watch it live. On forums, they said they want to go home and just watch it on TV after a tiring day at work.

The upcoming match is extremely important for Vietnam and Malaysia, competing for the top spot in Group F of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers. Only the top team will qualify for the Asian Cup Finals in 2 years.

Currently, after the first round of matches, the Vietnamese team is temporarily leading Group F, right above Malaysia thanks to goal difference.
