Candidates admitted directly to Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine in 2025 are mostly in the fields of medicine and dentistry.

The Admissions Council of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine announced the recognition of candidates admitted under the form of conditional direct admission to regular university in 2025.

Specifically, the school recognized 23 candidates who passed the conditional direct admission to full-time university in 2025. These candidates are among the winners of the national high school excellent student selection exam for the 2024-2025 school year.

According to this list, most of the candidates who passed the exam were qualified to enter the medical field (15 candidates), followed by dentistry (6 candidates). There are 2 fields with only one candidate each eligible to enter, including: medical testing technology and medical imaging technology.

According to regulations, candidates whose names are on this list must still complete the registration procedures and confirm admission within the time specified by the Ministry of Education and Training. Candidates who do not complete the required steps will be considered as refusing admission.

In 2025, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine will use two admission methods. Method 1 is based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam. Method 2 is direct admission, applied according to Article 8 of the Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; applied to Lao and Cambodian students receiving scholarships from Ho Chi Minh City under the form of friendly cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the Kingdom of Cambodia. The school will enroll 1,920 students, of which 790 will be in medicine and 105 will be in dentistry.
