Army Academy: Improving the quality of training highly qualified officers and staff for the army

Overview of the 2024-2025 school year summary conference.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the Army Academy will thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the resolutions and directives of the Party, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense on education and training tasks; thoroughly implement the motto "The quality of the school's training is the combat readiness of the unit".

Military recruitment and postgraduate recruitment are carried out strictly and with quality. Training for officers of the Lao People's Army and the Royal Cambodian Army has achieved good results. Advanced training in political theory is in accordance with the targets assigned by the Ministry of National Defense. Postgraduate training has many innovations and quality has been improved. Organizing for students to conduct field research, practice, and exercise closely, ensuring safety and quality.

Faculty members do a good job of preparing and practicing training, drills, and exercises; organize lecturers to study tactics and apply them to teaching and scientific research; focus on applying active teaching and learning methods; closely implement training preparation work, increase observation of lectures, practice sample lessons, and practice advanced lessons to improve the qualityof education and training at the Academy.

Many groups and individuals of the Army Academy were recognized and rewarded for their achievements during the school year.

The Academy has set out the direction and tasks for the 2025-2026 school year. Therein, focusing on implementing well the education and training program, content, and plan according to the new project of the Ministry of National Defense; conducting training strictly, scientifically, and in accordance with the practical situation. Strengthening the inspection and examination of training; organizing exams, tests, and re-examinations strictly. Improving the quality of organizing training and exercises for students and core staff of the Academy.

Carry out well the work of enrollment, selection, and quality control of students. Guide students in compiling and defending topics, dissertations of doctoral students and quality-assured dissertations. Promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in education and training activities. Determined to build a clean and strong Party Committee of the Academy; a comprehensively strong Academy "Exemplary, typical"; strive to complete well and excellently all assigned tasks.

The Academy Party Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals who excellently completed their tasks for the school year.

On this occasion, the Minister of National Defense awarded the title of "Emulation Soldier of the Whole Army" to 7 individuals who had outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to win in the period of 2022-2024. The Party Committee of the Academy awarded Certificates of Merit to 7 collectives and 37 individuals who had excellently completed their tasks in the 2024-2025 school year. Awarded emulation titles to 45 collectives and 364 individuals who had outstanding, excellent and good achievements in the emulation movement to win in the 2024-2025 school year.
