Sharing digital technology applications through the mGreen Collector mobile platform |
The cooperative group of technology scrap collectors and scrap collectors No. 3 has the participation of 10 members operating in many different locations such as Vy Da ward, Thuan Hoa ward, Phu Xuan ward, etc. This is an important expansion step of the smart scrap collection network, aiming at the goal that each ward and commune has at least one person working in the "technology scrap" profession in charge of collecting recyclable waste for local people.
The highlight of the cooperative is the application of digital technology through the mobile platform mGreen Collector - a modern application that helps people schedule recycling collection quickly and conveniently. Members of the group will use this application to receive orders, purchase recyclables, and at the same time be supported to track transaction history, cash flow and manage customers effectively.
In particular, in addition to cash payment, buyers can also use mGreen points (equivalent to 1 point = 1 VND) as an exchange unit, helping to create a flexible, transparent and convenient trading ecosystem.
Cooperative of technology scrap collectors, collecting scrap in localities |
Since 2023, the TVA Project has established two “technological scrap” cooperatives in An Dong Ward (now An Cuu Ward) and Huong So Ward (now Huong An Ward). These cooperatives have quickly mastered the mGreen Collector application, contributing to improving collection efficiency and livelihoods for workers in the scrap purchasing sector.
The establishment of Cooperative Group No. 3 is an important milestone, contributing to the expansion of the technology scrap network throughout the area. If previously, people could only schedule collection through the application in some wards such as Phu Xuan or Thuan Hoa, now all 40 wards and communes of Hue City will gradually be connected with scrap buyers through a modern digital platform, contributing to promoting a green - clean - circular urban area.
The TVA project was developed with funding from WWF-Norway (through WWF-Vietnam) and received by the Hue City People's Committee with the aim of supporting the city in protecting rivers and wetland and coastal ecosystems from pollution by plastic waste.
