Introducing the innovative technical products that have been effectively applied in recent times, Lieutenant Colonel Vu Ngoc Trieu, Deputy Political Commissar of Brigade 405, commented: “The innovative products of the Brigade all come from practice, are diverse and have effective applications. A typical example is the initiative "Smart propaganda device applying NFC wireless connection technology" by Senior Lieutenant Luu Quang Khanh, Assistant to the Political Department of Brigade 405. The initiative helps to educate soldiers about politics , traditions and laws in a very vivid and effective way through stories expressed in sound and images. The device can be used when moving on the training ground, in the living room or in the hall. The initiative was granted a certificate by the Innovation Council of Military Region 3 in 2024 and won an encouragement prize at the 2024 Creative Youth Award in the Army.

Along with the above initiative, there are also initiatives: PKT gun movement part jam removal tool, which was awarded the third prize in the 2022 Military Technical Innovation Award; camouflage smoke generator, fake smoke generator in training and exercises; TH-22 gun barrel cleaning machine... all of which have been effectively applied; displayed for the congress and highly appreciated by visiting delegates.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Hoa, Head of Logistics and Engineering of Brigade 405, when implementing research and implementing innovative topics, the Party Committees and unit commanders are always interested and create good conditions for technical staff and employees; they are truly companions to successfully implement initiatives. In the brigade, the movement to promote technical innovation initiatives is always promoted. From companies, repair shops to agencies, the movement is developed evenly and widely. When staff and employees have ideas, after presenting the content, the brigade agency closely monitors, sets up teams and groups to implement, thanks to which, the initiatives are completed early to be put into application.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Hoa is also the owner of 4 effective technical innovation initiatives. These are: Equipment to support the removal of artillery shells on tanks; dryer for communication equipment and canvas products that have been applied and proposed for recognition at Military Region 3 level. He also accompanied and supported officers and employees in implementing initiatives such as gun barrel cleaning machines, power converters, PT-76 and K63 chassis deceleration brackets, etc.

Thanks to the effectively applied initiatives, it has helped Brigade 405 improve the quality of technical assurance work, ensure equipment for training, combat readiness and perform regular and ad hoc tasks. In the period of 2020-2025, Brigade 405 always completed its tasks well, always leading the medium and brigade blocks of Military Region 3; the technical coefficient of weapons and equipment of the training group and combat readiness reached 100%.
