Implementing Resolution 202/2025/QH15 dated June 12, 2025 of the National Assembly on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units, including merging Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang provinces into a new province called Tuyen Quang province, officially coming into operation from July 1, 2025. Ha Giang Newspaper Agency (Ha Giang Newspaper and Ha Giang Radio and Television Station), Tuyen Quang Newspaper and Radio and Television Agency were also merged into a new agency named: Tuyen Quang Newspaper and Radio and Television.
After 34 years of accompanying readers, audiences and listeners across Ha Giang and the whole country, Ha Giang Newspaper, Ha Giang Radio and Television are about to close their journey of journalism full of passion and pride. In this special moment, we would like to send our deepest and most sincere thanks to the provincial leaders, all readers, audiences and listeners.
From the early days with many difficulties, Ha Giang Newspaper, Ha Giang Radio and Television have received the attention, encouragement and companionship of readers and a large number of audiences and listeners - those who have added faith and motivation so that each newspaper page, each radio and television program published and broadcast carries the breath of life, of the people and of the land at the northernmost tip of the Fatherland. It is this affection and support that has contributed to writing the story of 34 years of Ha Giang journalism always striving to innovate, keep up with the development trend of modern journalism, stick to reality and serve readers, audiences and listeners with all responsibility and love for the profession.
Ha Giang press is proud to be a reliable bridge between the Party, the government and the people; a place to reflect the thoughts and aspirations of the people; a forum for social criticism and accompaniment to the development of Ha Giang province over the past three decades.
Now, when Ha Giang Newspaper, Ha Giang Radio and Television are about to officially stop operating, what remains in us are not only the newspaper pages, radio and television programs but also the deep affection, trust and strong attachment of our readers, audiences and listeners throughout the long journey. That is a great reward, an indelible mark in the difficult and glorious journey of journalism in our beloved homeland of Ha Giang.
Once again, our Editorial Board would like to express our deep gratitude and sincere thanks to the provincial leaders, readers, audiences, listeners, collaborators, partners and all those who have always followed, supported and given strength to Ha Giang Newspaper, Ha Giang Radio and Television over the past 34 years.
We hope that, although Ha Giang Newspaper will no longer continue to publish, Ha Giang Radio and Television programs will no longer be broadcast, the values and spirit that Ha Giang Newspaper, Ha Giang Radio and Television have preserved will continue to spread, living forever in the hearts of the people of all ethnic groups in the northernmost borderland rich in cultural identity and patriotic traditions.
