Since the beginning of June, educational institutions in the province have simultaneously implemented the enrollment work for the new school year. For high school level, the provincial Department of Education and Training has successfully organized the entrance exam for grade 10 with over 16,400 targets. By June 18, the Department had announced the exam scores of candidates and the benchmark scores of 43 public high schools in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .
For public schools from kindergarten to junior high school, enrollment takes place during the operation of the 2-level local government model. The Departmentof Education and Training directs to maintain the enrollment plans approved by the Provincial People's Committee. Schools apply a unified enrollment method based on the locality of each commune, with quotas built based on actual surveys of student age data, facilities and teaching staff. Depending on actual conditions, enrollment routes can be flexibly adjusted to meet students' learning needs.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quang, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, said: This year, we will continue to maintain two forms of online and direct enrollment registration. The Department directs that during the enrollment period, educational institutions are not allowed to arbitrarily collect additional contributions outside of the regulations. All enrollment activities must be carried out publicly, transparently, objectively and fairly. In addition, the online enrollment system at https://sonla.tsdc.edu.vn/ has been upgraded, adding new utilities such as: Information lookup by identification code; step-by-step procedural instructions; automatic messaging when receiving or approving applications... ensuring increased efficiency and transparency in enrollment.
In the 2025-2026 school year, Chieng Coi ward has 7 public educational institutions from preschool to junior high school, with over 1,000 enrollment targets for the first level. After completing the new administrative apparatus, the ward quickly directed schools to publicize enrollment plans so that parents can register online, saving time and reducing the situation of cross-district enrollment. Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong, Head of the Department of Culture and Society, Chieng Coi ward, informed: In the 2025-2026 school year, the unit strives to mobilize at least 60% of children of nursery age and 100% of children of preschool age to preschool; mobilize 100% of 6-year-old children to grade 1; 100% of students who have completed primary school can enter grade 6. Schools in the area are ready to receive enrollment and implement summer training for teachers, preparing well for the new school year.
For remote areas, enrollment work is still being implemented by educational institutions according to plan. At Phong Lap Primary School, Muong E Commune, since mid-June, the school has coordinated with kindergartens to review and grasp information on the number of school-age children; widely announce enrollment information via loudspeakers, Zalo groups, to each group and village. Teacher Hoang Van Huan, Phong Lap Primary School, said: This school year, the unit enrolls 98 students for 4 classes of grade 1, starting from July 10, the school will start receiving enrollment applications. The change of administrative unit does not cause difficulties or disruptions to enrollment activities at the beginning of the school year.
According to the plan, the province-wide primary school enrollment will be completed before August 15. The Education and Training sector will be proactive, flexible, and determined in its direction and management; organize synchronous and transparent enrollment, ensure the right to study of all students, and improve the quality of comprehensive and sustainable education in the province.
