The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a document on organizing fireworks displays to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024).
Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City will fire high-altitude fireworks at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel, Thu Thiem ward, Thu Duc city and low-altitude fireworks at Dam Sen cultural park, ward 3, district 11. Fireworks will be fired from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on September 2.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee directed the Ho Chi Minh City Command to develop a plan and closely coordinate with relevant departments and localities to prepare and organize the fireworks display.
Require authorities to ensure absolute safety during the transportation of fireworks and fireworks display locations, and areas where people gather to watch fireworks.
Specifically, organize traffic diversion on land and river routes around the fireworks display area; do not allow vehicles to park or stop within 1,000m or more of the fireworks display location.
