
At the end of June, the youth of the City Military Command coordinated with the Youth Union of Naval Region 3 to organize volunteer activities at the Center for Caring for People with Revolutionary Contributions.
Union members and young people visited and gave gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and people with revolutionary contributions; organized general cleaning, pruning, and care of flower gardens and ornamental plants, and cut hair for wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and people with revolutionary contributions.

Previously, the youth of the City Military Command carried out many practical activities such as: supporting the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses; launching "Green Sunday", "Volunteer Saturday", cleaning the environment, clearing sewers, collecting waste, contributing to building a green, clean and beautiful urban landscape.
The youth union members also actively carry out the work of "Repaying gratitude", visiting and supporting families of policy beneficiaries, war invalids, martyrs and those in difficult circumstances, spreading the sense of responsibility and affection of the city's armed forces youth.
At many grassroots units, union members and youth also undertake the model of "Police supporting digital transformation", helping people install and use the VNelD application, activate electronic identification accounts and provide instructions on registering for online public services...

Lieutenant Colonel Ho Dinh Tri, Deputy Head of the Youth Department, City Police said: “The summer youth volunteer campaign is an opportunity for the youth of the City Police to promote their spirit of volunteering to reach out to the people through the most specific, close and practical actions. Each activity is an opportunity for young officers and soldiers to practice, mature and further strengthen the close relationship between the police force and the people.”
Captain Vo Van Thanh, Assistant to the Mass Mobilization Department, Political Department, City Military Command shared that the youth of the City Military Command continue to closely coordinate with armed forces units and local youth organizations to carry out meaningful activities, focusing on visiting and giving gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and taking care of martyrs' cemeteries.
At the same time, promote propaganda about sea and island sovereignty , participate in environmental protection movements, preserve urban landscapes and join hands in building new rural areas.
“With the spirit of initiative, responsibility and volunteer heart, we wish to contribute to spreading good values, contributing youth to the sustainable development of the community, worthy of the image of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers” in the new era in the hearts of the people,” said Captain Vo Van Thanh.
