Party and State leaders offer incense to commemorate heroic martyrs and visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the morning of July 24, the delegation of the Party Central Committee, the President, the National Assembly, the Government, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front laid wreaths and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs (Bac Son Street - Hanoi) and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.

Attending the memorial ceremony were Politburo members: General Secretary To Lam; President Luong Cuong; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Permanent member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien.

Former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, former National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, along with Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries, National Assembly Vice Chairmen, Deputy Prime Ministers, and many leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, and leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, and organizations attended the memorial service.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegates bowed their heads in memory of the heroic martyrs - the nation's outstanding sons who sacrificed their blood and bones, bravely, steadfastly, fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, national reunification, for socialism and noble international obligations. The delegation's wreath bore the inscription "Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs".

Throughout the revolutionary journey of the Party and the nation, with the aspiration and belief in the truth "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom", the spirit of "Determination to die for the Fatherland", generations of outstanding Vietnamese people have bravely volunteered to go to battle, fought heroically, sacrificed themselves to carry out their duties, for the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland, for the peace and happiness of the people.

Over the past 78 years, many movements of "Repaying gratitude", taking care of families of war invalids, martyrs, and people with meritorious services have received attention from the Party, the State and the whole society. The movements have received enthusiastic response and participation from the whole society, becoming a beautiful feature in cultural life, contributing significantly to consolidating and strengthening the great national unity bloc, enhancing patriotism, social responsibility, arousing and fostering the humane values of every Vietnamese person.

Next, the Party and State leaders laid wreaths and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum. The delegation's wreath bore the inscription "Forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh".

The delegates expressed their infinite gratitude and respectfully remembered his great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and our nation. President Ho Chi Minh devoted his entire life to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, wholeheartedly serving the Fatherland and the people.

On the same morning, in Hanoi, the delegations: Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense; Central Public Security Party Committee - Ministry of Public Security; Ministry of Home Affairs; City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city... came to lay wreaths, commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Monument of Heroic Martyrs on Bac Son Street and visited President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
