World leaders offer condolences over mini apartment fire in Hanoi

Upon hearing the news of the tragic fire in Khuong Dinh ward, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi in the early morning of September 13, causing heavy losses in human lives and property, on September 15, the leaders of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, and the Republic of Kazakhstan sent telegrams and letters of condolence to the leaders of Vietnam.

Prime Minister of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Sonexay Siphandone sent a message of condolences to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh .

In the telegram, the Lao Prime Minister expressed his sadness upon receiving the news of the fire and, on behalf of the Lao Party, Government and the Prime Minister himself, sent his regards and deepest condolences to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and through the Prime Minister to the families of the victims as well as the people of Vietnam.

The Lao Prime Minister believes that under the attention and direction of the Government, sectors and the Hanoi authorities, the people and families affected will overcome difficulties and soon return to normal life.

Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone emphasized that the Lao Government and people always stand by the Party, Government and people of Vietnam in times of difficulty and uphold the tradition of great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.

President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro and President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent telegrams and letters of condolences to President Vo Van Thuong.

On the same day, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Saleumxay Kommasith sent a message of condolences to Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son.
