Recently, a 3:20 second video appeared on Youtube, titled "Arrest of Director of Vinh Long Television Station Le Quang Nguyen". The authorities affirmed: The content in the above video is completely fake, baseless and untrue; it was fabricated to slander, fabricate stories, and affect the reputation and honor of the leaders of Vinh Long Television Station and Mr. Le Quang Nguyen personally.

At noon on May 15, when meeting with the provincial police to discuss information related to the above video clip, Mr. Le Quang Nguyen expressed his surprise at the fabricated and slanderous information that affected his reputation and personal honor. He hoped that the authorities would soon clarify the incident and widely inform the public so that they could understand the issue correctly.
Faced with the above situation, the Director of Vinh Long Provincial Police has directed functional units to urgently verify and clarify the owner of the Youtube channel and the person who posted the content of the above video and handle it according to legal regulations, and at the same time force the removal of the video on the Youtube channel.
The police agency recommends that units and localities need to strengthen propaganda work among all classes of people so that people know and understand that the above information is completely fake, untrue, and has bad intentions. And, any act of providing, sharing fake information, untrue information, distorting, slandering, or insulting the reputation of agencies, organizations, or the honor and dignity of individuals is a violation of the law and will be strictly handled according to regulations.
