The first session of the new Bac Ninh Provincial People's Council will take place on July 1.

The Standing Committees of the People's Councils of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces have just jointly organized a conference to unify the content of the agenda of the first session of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term. Comrades: Lam Thi Huong Thanh, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Council; Tran Thi Hang, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Council co-chaired the conference.

The delegates reviewed and agreed on the expected content, composition, time and location of the first session of the 19th Bac Ninh Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026. Accordingly, the session is scheduled to take place on July 1 at the Provincial Convention Center.

At this session, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council will announce Resolutions on personnel, including: Announcement of the number and list of delegates of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term. Announcement of the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on appointing personnel to hold the positions of Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Head of the Committees of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.

The meeting listened to the Provincial People's Committee submit draft resolutions and listened to the Provincial People's Council Committees report on the examination of the submissions and draft resolutions. On that basis, the following draft resolutions were considered and approved: Resolution on the establishment of the Committees of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term; Resolution on the establishment of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Council; Resolution on the plan to organize regular meetings of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term in 2025; Resolution on the establishment of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee.

Comrade Lam Thi Huong Thanh requested that the Offices of the National Assembly Delegation and the People's Councils of the two provinces coordinate closely to prepare conditions for the first session. The Legal Committee of the People's Councils of the two provinces review the arrangement of the list of delegates and delegation groups to ensure it is scientific and easy to follow.
