Checking the disbursement of public investment capital for projects of An Giang Provincial Police

On the morning of August 29, inspection team No. 05, led by Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, inspected the disbursement of public investment capital for projects invested by the Provincial Police.

Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy listened to the report and inspected the actual situation at the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team's Headquarters.

The delegation conducted a field survey of the technical infrastructure construction investment project and construction items at the headquarters of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team (Provincial Police) in Vinh Quang Ward. After that, the delegation continued to work on the progress of projects assigned to An Giang Provincial Police as the investor at the headquarters of the Provincial Police.

The representative of the Provincial Police Department briefly reported on the disbursement process of a number of projects, such as: Headquarters of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team in Vinh Quang Ward; Provincial Multi-functional Drug Rehabilitation Center; items: Construction of new student housing, official housing, demolition of old works, upgrading and renovating auxiliary items; investment project to build technical infrastructure for the campus of the Provincial Police Department's headquarters...

Up to now, the Provincial Police have disbursed 75.4% of the plan, exceeding the target assigned by the Provincial People's Committee Chairman, higher than the average disbursement rate of the whole province.

Colonel Le Van Quy, Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Police, received opinions from departments and branches at the meeting.

To ensure that by the end of 2025, projects will be completed and disbursed 100% on schedule, Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy requested the Provincial Police to quickly point out difficulties so that relevant departments and branches can promptly resolve them.

At the same time, request departments, branches, and the Provincial People's Committee Office to urgently handle issues related to their units, ensuring the goal of accelerating disbursement progress as required.

In addition, the investor reviews the progress, makes a detailed disbursement plan for each project and strictly adheres to the disbursement plan by week, month and quarter. Strengthens inspection, supervision and urging of contractors to speed up progress, ensuring safety and quality of the project.

Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy requested to assign specific leaders responsible for monitoring the implementation progress and being responsible for the disbursement results of each project as committed to the Provincial People's Committee and consider this as a criterion to evaluate the results of year-end task implementation.
