The program attracted the participation of many officials, employees, representatives of enterprises in the industrial park and environmentalists, joining hands to spread the message of green living and practical actions for a sustainable environment.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the program, Mr. Luong Xuan Dam, Director of Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park Management Board, emphasized: In the context of climate change increasingly affecting all aspects of life, "green living" is no longer an option but has become an inevitable requirement of sustainable development.
The program “Green Saturday 2025” is organized to strongly spread the spirit of environmental protection in the business community at Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park – a place that not only develops economically but also aims to become a model of an ecological, modern and humane industrial park.
At the event, delegates and businesses participated in many meaningful activities such as planting trees, contributing to creating green spaces in the industrial park, and visiting the "Green Factory" exhibition.
The exhibition is a space to display green manufacturing initiatives, energy-saving solutions, recycling models and environmentally friendly technology applications. The booths are elaborately and creatively designed, clearly demonstrating the commitment to sustainable development and environmental responsibility of each participating enterprise.
A meaningful highlight of the program is the tree planting activity “Following the Footprints”, with the direct participation of businesses. Each unit personally planted 2 to 3 trees such as coconut seedlings, mangoes, guavas, etc. to create more green space for the industrial park. In particular, each tree is labeled with the name and logo of the business as a mark of commitment to green living, long-term commitment and sustainable development in Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park.
After an objective and thorough evaluation process from the Jury, the Organizing Committee awarded 03 main prizes (each worth 10 million VND) to the booths: Inspirational Booth, Impressive Booth and Creative Booth. In addition, 07 secondary prizes (each worth 5 million VND) were also awarded to categories such as: Community Engagement Booth, Green Solutions, Impressive Green Products... to recognize typical ideas and methods in the "Green Factory" exhibition.
The event “Green Saturday 2025” is not only a communication program, but also a journey of connection and action to spread green living values throughout the industrial park. This is a vivid demonstration of the change in thinking in production and business, towards sustainable development, harmony between economy - environment and people in Hai Phong city.
