BHG - On July 1, Lung Cu, Ma Le and Lung Tao communes officially merged into the new Lung Cu commune. One of the priorities of the local government is to arrange and rearrange facilities for staff and civil servants. In the rugged and isolated mountainous terrain, proactively ensuring places to eat, rest and work has become the foundation for the government apparatus to operate smoothly from the very beginning.

When Lung Cu entered a new stage of development with the unified commune model, the problem was not only to manage a larger area and larger population, but also to reorganize all facilities, from workplaces to residences, so that the government apparatus could operate synchronously and effectively.

Currently, the commune has a total of 77 cadres and civil servants. Of these, 21 are Party cadres, 47 are from the Commune People's Committee, and 09 are from the Fatherland Front and mass organizations. To serve this team, three headquarters in Ma Le, Lung Cu and Lung Tao have been reviewed and arranged for use according to appropriate functions: Ma Le headquarters is for the Party and mass organizations; Lung Cu headquarters is for the state sector; Lung Tao area is for the military and militia.

Mr. Vang Mi Vang, a civil servant of the commune's land administration, shared with a gentle smile: "The terrain here is fragmented, so it is not always possible to go back and forth. The commune has arranged rotating accommodations for the brothers in available functional rooms, very flexible. When assigned to stay, I am ready, for work, for the people. Having a stable place to stay is very reassuring."

Ma Le commune officials reviewed the facilities before merging with Lung Cu commune and Lung Tao commune took the new commune name Lung Cu.

Currently, the commune has over 20 rooms to serve staff working day and night, some of which are arranged in the old accommodation house, some of which are used from the old medical house, meeting hall, etc. In addition, plans to repair, upgrade, and even build new public housing and mass organizations are also being proposed for implementation.

Mr. Duong Ngoc Duc - Secretary of Lung Cu Commune Party Committee, said: “Right from the beginning of the implementation of the new commune establishment, we have carefully reviewed all facilities and proactively arranged them reasonably between the three headquarters clusters. No one is left behind, no one is confused in the new working conditions. Only when cadres have stable accommodation can they feel secure in staying with the people and the grassroots.”

Amidst the cat ear mountains, accommodation is not just a room, but a connection - a support for those working in the Party and government to accompany the people for a long time. With the determination not to let the administration be interrupted even for a day, the Lung Cu commune government is gradually building a solid material foundation, from which to spread the spirit of dedicated service in the northernmost part of the Fatherland.
