On the afternoon of July 24, the opening ceremony of Vietnam Advertising and Entertainment Week 2025 - Ad & Fun Week 2025 took place in Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Ninh Thi Thu Huong - Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) emphasized that the Advertising industry is increasingly becoming an important pillar in the cultural industrial ecosystem of Vietnam.

Vietnam Advertising and Entertainment Week 2025 is a practical event, contributing to realizing the goal of professionalizing, modernizing, digitalizing and internationalizing cultural industries according to the Cultural Development Strategy to 2030.

Also at the event, Mr. Nguyen Truong Son - Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Advertising Association affirmed that after more than 30 years of development, the Vietnamese advertising industry has grown remarkably, from a young field to an indispensable part of the modern marketing strategy of enterprises.

Specifically, the Vietnamese advertising industry is quickly adapting to the globalization trend. Digital advertising, social networks, multimedia communications and especially artificial intelligence (AI) are playing a key role in shaping messages and reaching consumers.

It is worth mentioning that businesses not only provide creative ideas but also develop comprehensive solutions such as communication strategy consulting, branding, customer data management and real-time campaign effectiveness evaluation.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dao - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Advertising Association (HAA), the highlight of the Vietnam Advertising and Entertainment Week 2025 is the final round of the "StudentLive - Closing Arena" contest, which took place on the opening day on the TikTok Shop e-commerce platform. The contest attracted more than 300 entries from students, individuals and businesses nationwide.

This is not only a creative playground but also helps students approach the reality of the e-commerce market, practice sales skills, build content and better understand digital transformation in the advertising industry.

With a series of diverse activities and a scale of nearly 350 booths, gathering more than 500 brands from 10 countries, Vietnam Ad and Fun Week 2025 and EMA Vietnam Exhibition 2025 are expected to welcome 15,000 delegates, guests, businesses, reporters, and visitors from home and abroad.

The exhibition is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Advertising Association (HAA) in coordination with Dong Nam Advertising and Trade Promotion Joint Stock Company, taking place from July 24 to 27 at the Sky Expo Vietnam International Convention and Exhibition Center (Ho Chi Minh City).
