Opening of the 2025 Royal Poinciana Football Tournament with 28 competing teams

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of June 27, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong City organized the opening ceremony of the 2025 Hoa Phuong Football Tournament. Attending the opening ceremony were Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Pham Thi To Trang - Head of the Organizing Committee; along with representatives of leaders of relevant departments, agencies and units.

The 2025 Hoa Phuong Football Tournament is co-organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong City in coordination with the Departmentof Education and Training and the Hai Phong Football Federation. This year's tournament brings together 28 teams, including 14 Youth teams and 14 Children's teams with nearly 500 athletes participating, competing in 2 categories: Youth and Children.

The tournament is an annual sports activity, contributing to creating a healthy playground, promoting the physical training and sports movement among the city's youth, and is also part of a series of events to celebrate the Red Flamboyant Festival in 2025.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Pham Thi To Trang - Head of the Organizing Committee of the Tournament emphasized: Hoa Phuong Football Tournament is a healthy and useful sports playground for teenagers and children; at the same time, it is a meaningful activity to develop the school football movement in the city. Through the matches, the tournament also creates conditions for experts to discover and select young football talents, affirming the role and increasingly improved quality of this traditional tournament.

For the tournament to be successful, he requested that relevant units and members of the Organizing Committee coordinate closely, prepare carefully in all aspects, ensure safety, and create favorable conditions for the teams to compete. Referees need to manage the tournament impartially, accurately, and objectively, contributing to improving the professional quality and image of the tournament.
