On October 3, in Ninh Binh city, the School of Cultural, Sports and Tourism Management in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the opening ceremony of a training course on knowledge and skills on festival management in 2023.
Leaders of the Department of Grassroots Culture (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism ), Department of Culture and Sports, Department of Tourism, School of Cultural, Sports and Tourism Management attended the opening ceremony.
The training course was attended by more than 60 trainees who are managers and specialists in the fields of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Binh province and 7 southern provinces and cities.
During the period from October 3-6, the students were taught by lecturers who are experts in the field of culture and festivals in 4 topics: Improving the effectiveness of State management of festivals, Inspection, examination and handling of violations in festival management and organization, Traditional festivals in modern social life, Vietnamese festivals in tourism development.
It focuses on contents such as skills in guiding the organization and management of festivals, equipping managers with skills to identify changing trends in traditional festivals, as well as issues arising in the practice of festival management and effective festival management solutions.
Through the training course, it helps to equip officers and employees working in the fields of Culture, Sports and Tourism with more skills and knowledge to improve their management capacity, organize festival activities, preserve cultural identity at festivals and promote further development of tourism economic activities.
The training course is also an opportunity to introduce and promote the relics, scenic spots, potentials and strengths of Ninh Binh tourism to students and managers in the fields of culture and tourism in and outside the province.
