On the morning of December 8, the Center for High-Tech Agriculture and Trade Promotion (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development) organized a conference on Connecting the consumption of winter crop products, specialty rice and OCOP products of Ninh Binh province in 2023.
The conference recorded 8 opinions, introduced products, proposed a number of solutions to support the promotion of agricultural products and OCOP products consumption in the coming time. Specifically, continuing to maintain and develop established distribution channels, promoting multi-channel sales for existing OCOP product introduction and sales points.
Many delegates emphasized that the necessary factor to connect and bring products closer to consumers to stimulate consumption, boost production, and narrow the gap between regions is to strengthen the connection, trade promotion, and consumption of OCOP products associated with tourism, cuisine , culture, raise awareness of digital transformation, and promote the application of information technology and e-commerce in introducing, promoting, trading, and consuming products.
In order for the agricultural sector to contribute positively to socio -economic development, especially to increase the income of people - those with local specialties, all levels of industry, enterprises, and production facilities need to coordinate and continue to promote communication and promotion of OCOP products and points of introduction and sale of OCOP products.
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing solutions to increase consumption and diversify consumption channels of OCOP products with representatives of state management agencies, representatives of distribution enterprises and representatives of e-commerce sales channels of OCOP products.
Ninh Binh currently has over 100 OCOP products and many special agricultural products. The "One Commune One Product" program has created a strong start-up movement, contributing to the transformation of production towards increasing the scale of commodity production associated with chain linkages of localities, contributing to the formation of many production areas, and at the same time being a plus point in achieving new rural construction standards at all levels.
The list of products of Ninh Binh is increasingly diverse, rich, of good quality and traceable origin, gradually affirming its value and reputation in the market, increasing revenue. Many products with beautiful, sophisticated and unique designs, promoting the advantages of local resources and traditional culture need to be connected for consumption and market expansion.
