RT reported that Defense Minister Israel Katz declared on June 13 that Iran's retaliatory attack on Tel Aviv had "crossed a red line", vowing to make Iran "pay a heavy price".

"Iran has crossed a red line by daring to fire missiles at civilian centers in Israel. We will continue to protect Israeli citizens and ensure that Iran will pay a very heavy price for its actions," Minister Katz said.

On June 13, Iran launched a barrage of missiles at Israel in response to a preemptive strike by Tel Aviv earlier in the day. The city of Tel Aviv appears to be one of the main targets of Iran's attacks, with Israeli authorities confirming at least seven locations in the city area were affected.

At least 35 people were injured in the Iranian attack, according to Israeli health authorities. One woman is in critical condition, doctors said.

Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, earlier accused Israel of launching a "war" and said Tehran would not "allow them to get away with this crime unscathed".
