Amid the harsh summer sun of the North, many young people come to Y Ty - a wild land in Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province - to "escape the heat", immerse themselves in pristine nature, and enjoy the cool, fresh air of the plateau more than 2,000m above sea level.

Not noisy, not crowded, Y Ty attracts by its simple, rustic but enchanting beauty with winding terraced fields, villages nestled in the clouds and a pleasant atmosphere all year round.

In the hot weather of June, when Hanoi's temperature often exceeds 35 - 40 degrees Celsius, in Y Ty it rarely rises above 20 degrees Celsius.

This is the reason why many young people choose this place as a true “resort paradise”. Not only to avoid the sun, they also go to Y Ty to hunt for clouds – a famous “specialty” of the Northwestern highlands.

Not only the sea of clouds, Y Ty also impresses with the typical villages of the Ha Nhi, Mong, Dao people... The earthen-colored houses, the terraced fields stretching like stairs to the sky, or the fragrant cardamom forests all fascinate visitors. A memorable experience for many people is walking through the cool Mo stream, weaving through the mountains and forests, then running freely on the vast steppe with a rare fresh atmosphere.

Pham Quang Tuyen (31 years old, Hanoi) - a young man who loves backpacking and exploring nature, has made many trips to Y Ty and cannot hide his excitement. "I come to Y Ty to find peace. Every time I go, I feel like I am 'recharged'. No need to go far, no need to spend a lot of money, just come to Y Ty, stay for a few days, breathe the fresh air, watch the fields, watch the clouds and you will feel your heart calm down. This place is a real healing medicine", he said.

"This is the first time I have seen a real sea of clouds. Standing high up and looking down, I only see a white, floating color, as if I were lost in paradise. The journey to conquer Lao Than is quite difficult, but the beautiful scenery is completely worth it," Tran Minh Quan (27 years old, Ho Chi Minh City) shared.

Y Ty still retains its wild beauty, is not yet commercialized, so it still retains its original rustic features. However, because of that, to have a complete trip, young people need to prepare carefully.

According to Quang Tuyen, visitors should bring long pants, sneakers with good grip, sunscreen and lots of dry socks because they often have to walk and wade through streams. In addition, because the phone signal in this area is quite weak, booking accommodation in advance is something to do.

With its fresh climate, dreamlike scenery and rich culture, Y Ty deserves to be the "ideal summer getaway", a place for the soul to rest amidst the vast nature of the Northwest.
