It can be images of mountains, nature, craters, lakes and fog. Gianh River is more than 150km long, originating from Truong Son mountain range and flowing through only one locality, Quang Binh province, before flowing into the East Sea. It is also the largest river among the five rivers of the province.

Therefore, the people of this land are always proud of the folk song about the river that has been associated with their roots for generations:

Gianh River has three sources

Nan source, Nay source and Son source

Sincere heart and mind are perfect

In the future, your children and grandchildren will benefit from your career."

In fact, the Gianh River has a fourth source (the Tro source) that was created. Among the above sources, the most famous is the Son River flowing through Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park.

That stretch of river is as soft as a peaceful green silk strip, and contributes to the formation of wonderful limestone caves. And if anyone has ever had the opportunity to take the North-South train to Quang Binh, seeing majestic limestone mountains on one side, a poetic river on the other, and a road curving like a winding dragon, then they must have reached the middle section of the Gianh River - the most beautiful section of the entire route.

Legend has it that Dragon Head is located in Le Son, which is also the top village in the "Eight Famous Villages" including 8 most famous villages in the province: Le Son - La Ha - Canh Duong - Tho Ngoa - Van La - Vo Xa - Co Hien - Kim Nai; not only famous for its beautiful mountains and rivers, deep culture but also for its brilliant academic achievements.
