Guidance on developing socio-economic indicators to serve the development of documents for provincial and commune party congresses (new) for the 2025-2030 term

On the morning of June 24, the Ministry of Finance held a national online conference to deploy and guide the development of socio-economic indicators to serve the development of documents for the Provincial and Commune Party Congresses (new) for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the conference at the Ha Nam bridge were comrade Nguyen Duc Vuong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, departments, branches, professional offices under the Statistics Office, leaders of the Commune People's Committees and related experts.

At the conference, representatives of the specialized departments of the General Statistics Office ( Ministry of Finance ) introduced and guided the construction and calculation methods of socio-economic indicators to serve the construction of documents for the provincial and commune-level Party Congresses (new) for the 2025-2030 term with 2 main groups of contents: Economic statistical indicators (method of calculating the gross domestic product index in the province and centrally-run city (GRDP), method of calculating the index of the proportion of added value of the digital economy in GRDP, instructions for compiling the index of the growth rate of total product value in the commune level; social statistical indicators (introducing the content and method of calculating the human development index (HDI), method of calculating the average income per capita index). At the same time, delegates also discussed and exchanged on related issues when implementing at the local level.

The conference helps localities unify the approach and application in building socio -economic indicators to serve the construction of documents for the provincial and commune party congresses (new) for the 2025-2030 term, close to reality and highly feasible.
