The training course was attended by nearly 50 trainees who are housekeeping staff and managers of tourist accommodation establishments in Dak Lak. During the 3 days, the trainees will be taught basic knowledge on topics such as: Basic knowledge of housekeeping; Work preparation and hygiene principles; Guest room cleaning; Bathroom cleaning and end of shift. Updating knowledge and practical skills on housekeeping, following the correct cleaning procedures, ensuring hygiene, safety and professionalism at tourist accommodation establishments.
Tourism staff in Dak Lak are trained and fostered in professional skills.
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Phuong Hieu - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province said that the training course aims to improve the professional skills and quality of room service at tourist accommodation establishments, creating conditions for the management team and staff to improve their professional skills and have the opportunity to exchange, learn and share experiences in the unit's operations and business.
This is one of the professional training courses organized by the Department every year to improve the quality of tourism staff. This year, to effectively implement the plan to improve the quality of tourist accommodation facilities and related services, especially before the peak summer tourist season and prepare for the "culinary passport" program that will be widely deployed when the new Dak Lak province is announced (based on the merger of the two provinces of Dak Lak - Phu Yen).
Accommodation facilities prepare conditions to serve well the peak summer tourist season and upcoming activities.
