From a wasteland by the river, Thu Thiem now wears a new look with parks, walking paths, cultural centers... connecting the dynamic life with the center of District 1.

Just a few years ago, the Thu Thiem riverbank in Thu Duc city from Ba Son bridge to the roof of Thu Thiem tunnel was still a narrow dirt path, many sections of degraded construction, overgrown with weeds. However, now, when standing from Bach Dang wharf (District 1) looking over, many people are surprised by the "transformation" of this place. The riverbank that was once full of reeds is now replaced by lush green grass, clean walkways along the water's edge, interwoven with flowers, miniature landscapes and trees, winding around the urban areas that are gradually taking shape.

The system of trees, lighting, walkways, benches and signs has been gradually completed, bringing a new look to the Thu Thiem riverbank. The riverside sections that were once abandoned have now become familiar gathering and check-in spots for young people every afternoon, especially when the sunset turns the river yellow.

The highlight of Thu Thiem riverside is the Thu Thiem Cultural and Creative Center, a project with open and modern architecture. This place is gradually becoming a space for organizing cultural events, exhibitions, and small-scale art performances, attracting young people and spreading the spirit of creativity in the heart of the new urban area.

The space surrounding the Thu Thiem Cultural and Creative Center is flexibly designed and can be converted into a small square or an open stage by the river, creating a meeting place for community activities and enjoying art in the middle of open nature.

The riverside walkway is lined with trees, dotted with miniature landscapes and flowers in bloom, creating a relaxing, vibrant scene in the heart of the city.
