Speaking at the program, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Nguyen Hong Dan, expected to be the Secretary of the Party Committee of Lang Ward (new), said: The conference discussed and gave opinions on the Draft Working Regulations of the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Lang Ward Party Committee, term I, 2025-2030. This is the guideline for leadership, management and coordination activities in the entire political system of the ward in the coming time.

In addition, the Conference reviewed and approved the Decision on establishing agencies, units, and organizations under the Ward Party Committee. The Conference also listened to and discussed the Draft directions, tasks, and targets for Party building, political system building, socio -economic development, and national defense and security in the last 6 months of 2025.

In addition, the conference gave opinions on the Plan to organize the 1st Lang Ward Congress, towards the 18th Hanoi City Party Congress; the Project on allocating delegates and the allocation table for delegates attending the Ward Congress; the Decision to establish subcommittees to serve the Congress...

Previously, the Executive Committee of the Lang Ward Party Committee (new) organized a trial operation of the first Executive Committee Conference.

Also this afternoon, the People's Council of Lang Ward (new) conducted a trial run of the first People's Council meeting to review and decide on matters within its authority.

The meeting carried out the following contents: Announcing the resolutions of the Standing Committee of the City People's Council and the Standing Committee of the Ward People's Council on personnel work. At the same time, reviewing the submissions of the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the Ward People's Committee, the verification reports of the People's Council Committees to discuss, decide and pass the Resolutions, including many very important contents related to the organization of the People's Council's personnel apparatus, deciding on the socio-economic development plan and local budget for the last 6 months of 2025.

To operate the two-level local government model well, since June 20, the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Lang Ward (new) have carefully prepared the conditions to build, receive, and test scenarios and programs to operate the two-level local government model.

During the trial operation, the units promptly provided guidance, resolved difficulties and problems, made recommendations and proposed practical issues, ensuring progress, smoothness and efficiency, creating an important premise for the official operation of the 2-level government model from July 1, 2025.

Lang Ward (new) was established from Lang Thuong Ward, most of Lang Ha Ward and part of Ngoc Khanh Ward (Ba Dinh District), with a natural area of 1.85km2 and a population of 74,570 people.
